"One of the good duck rice stalls in the western part of sg! Nestle inside a small canteen, very good duck and kway chup which is season just nice with the old tradition taste. Very friendly boss too! Have to be early due to limited sitting and parking lots."

"One of the best malanin SG if U ask me... The deep fried lotus roots were good too, and although I didn't wanna fry my potatoes at first, it turns out decent, just like potato chips. The spiciness of the mala was just nice as well so taste wise, I would easily give a 5 stars. BUT... and a big one... It cost $42 for 2 pax! Most expensive mala ever... True that I accidentally got a slightly heavier lotus root... But still at $3plus (3.50?) per 100g, and same for both meat and vege, my deep fried lotus roots turns out to be about $20. Scary... Just for the price alone, I won't be back again. But of course if U happen to stay or study nearby, then it probably makes sense still. Just beware of the heavier items, esp the non meat ones."

"No authentic Thai Food for us, we lived in Thailand and this was not really the same. Service needed over 10 Min to get our food order."

"Stumbled upon this stall when searching online. Tried it out and got the Rice + Beef Rendang ($5.50) + Vegetables ($2). Food tasted great, portion of the meat was slightly small though, 3 pieces of beef. The stall owner was very friendly and cheerful to ensure I could handle the spice."

"I was really looking forward to my Chili Crab experience, after hearing so much about it. As an FYI, I’ve had all types of cooked crab at many places around the world so, looking forward to the famous place in Singapore. The restaurant looked like an expensive place and a few people recommended this place. Once I sat down, I was waiting for the experience to begin. Looked at the menu and the lady recommended the mid crab with the Chili sauce, which is supposed to be their signature dish, and supposed to be sweet and spicey. I was told that the minimum I could order is a 800g (a lot for a single person) and the black pepper crab would be a minimum of 900g. Check the bill for the exact prices. Once the food arrived, I started cracking some claws, and eating with my gloves on. Hmmm, really wasn’t what I expected, it was just mediocre, a little bit of a tangy taste with no spice at all. Wasn’t very impressed at all. Not sure if I should’ve ordered the black pepper crab. Overall, the crab landed me over 110++ The service was great. The restaurant is very nice, very clean and has a pretty good ambiance."

"The place is clean and staff are friendly. Food is good and big portions. Saw big tables that can sit 10pax. But will have some BBQ smell escape from the kitchen to the dinning area."

"We are back here for our Valentine’s dinner… the same place where we had our very first Valentine’s 27 years ago. So many memories in one place. It feels special to return and relive those moments again. Even more thankful to have MG helping us take the perfect photos… capturing our memories…"

"We recently held our wedding at Raffles Marina and had a great experience. A special thanks to Elsie, who lent a hand in setting up the venue and coordinating our walk-in, especially since we didn’t have helpers. The kitchen team was also very thoughtful—they provided an extra portion for our VIP table when we had an additional guest. The bistro manager was attentive as well, ensuring our music performer received their pre-ordered food, and the next morning, he served us a lovely breakfast and even helped us take photos. Overall, we felt very welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommended!"
