"After a horrendous experience at the restaurant next door, Brewerkz completely turned our afternoon around and reminded us what great hospitality looks like. We had originally removed ourselves from Brewerkz's waitlist after seeing we were next in line at another restaurant nearby. After an extra 30 minutes of waiting in the scorching heat there and a deeply frustrating experience with their staff, we came back to Brewerkz and very kindly asked if they could place us back on their list. Without any fuss, they had us seated within 5 minutes. That alone already set the tone. Within about 2 minutes of sitting down, water arrived at our table — and without us even having to ask, they brought water for our dog too. Such a small thing, but after standing in the heat for so long, it genuinely meant the world to us. The food was fantastic on top of all that. But honestly, it was the warmth and efficiency of the entire team that made this visit so memorable. This is what good service looks like — attentive, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Thank you to the Brewerkz team at East Coast Park for saving our afternoon and my birthday lunch (on the 27th of May, around 1pm). We'll be back."

"What a tremendous find in the Katong area of Singapore! Such a hidden gem! I was staying in the area looking for a good place for dinner and came across this spot in a mixed retail building on the 5th floor in the corner (it’s the corner closer to the side that is across from the Holiday Inn). The entrance is behind two doors where this amazing array of visuals appear - a chandelier made of desk lamps, beautiful liquor bottles, colorful posters and stickers and just modern and unique touches that really give it a flavor that keeps to its name. The food though is… wow. Just something out of this world! When you look at the menu you’re going to see a lot of different things - small bites and mains and a desert plus drinks. One drink minimum with a food order. I asked one of the employees (Crisanne who was the SWEETEST!) what she would order and her recommendations were the best! I ordered the octopus tentacle, the otak pate and the wagyu cap - a hearty combo for one person but no regrets. Everything super deliciously prepared, balanced, great flavors and visually stunning. You’re getting a super high end meal here in such an easygoing environment and it’s nice to be able to have places like this who care so much about the quality of food and the vibes of making everyone feel like family! Just loved my experience and can’t wait to come back with more friends and family (because also I want to try more food!)"

"Second time dining here, and this visit was extra meaningful as I treated my teacher to a farewell lunch. The food was generally delicious and flavourful. However, the portion sizes felt a little small for the price point, and the rice was slightly mushy during this visit. Overall, it was still a pleasant dining experience and a place worth trying."

"This week we again had a lunch with family here! Excellent food ! I had a Dinner here on my B' day On Nov '24 with my son. The ambience of Bar and Restaurant good! Food also very tasty and had a different style than other normal N Indian ones nearby Tanjong Katong area. The pepper Chicken Tandoor was excellent!"

"Baba chew specialised in Asian, Peranakan signature dishes and is located along East Coast road. They also serve some western dishes and unique cocktails as well. When we went for dinner on a weekend, it was pretty quiet. We ordered Kueh Pie Tee as starters and several mains before finishing off with their Chendol as dessert. The place is very clean and the dining atmosphere is great. Service is good and acceptable. Below are some dishes we prefer and would recommend. 1. Chap Chye: Authentic flavour 2. Assam curry seabass: our favourite dish for the night. The seabass is well fried and crispy. That Assam curry is spot on and goes very well with the rice! Must order"

"We had a brunch here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and the food was great. We ordered the fried chicken French toast, steak hash, wurst rosti, and the dark chocolate banana fudge cake. Everything tasted really good and I enjoyed all the dishes. The sausage in the wurst rosti was especially amazing — definitely one of the best sausages I’ve ever had. I also liked the ambiance of the place. It’s quiet and peaceful, which made the brunch even more enjoyable. In terms of service, the staff were attentive and very accommodating. I will definitely come back again and try their dinner menu."

However, what truly made our experience special was the hospitality. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Deepak Sir, whose warmth, professionalism, and personal attention made us feel genuinely welcomed. His dedication to ensuring guests have a wonderful experience is something that sets this restaurant apart. Special thanks to him and the hostess to celebrate our anniversary evening and amazing it absolutely special 🙏😊 Traveling as a family, we greatly appreciated the friendly atmosphere, excellent recommendations, and outstanding service. "Nice place to chill out in the evening. They have beer that is low carb! Make you feel ‘less guilty’ guzzling a pint or two. The Thai dishes we ordered were alright. But I think the price is a little on the high side. I’ll go once a while and whenever my wallet can afford it."
