We had a brunch here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and the food was great. We ordered the fried chicken French toast, steak hash, wurst rosti, and the dark chocolate banana fudge cake. Everything tasted really good and I enjoyed all the dishes. The sausage in the wurst rosti was especially amazing — definitely one of the best sausages I’ve ever had. I also liked the ambiance of the place. It’s quiet and peaceful, which made the brunch even more enjoyable. In terms of service, the staff were attentive and very accommodating. I will definitely come back again and try their dinner menu.
Beef steak was tender and flavorful. The coffee was good. Tater tots portion was big. Overall a good spread of menu. 2 mains, 2 iced coffee, and 1 side came to around $91. The price is quite steep, but you get a good quality meal.
Visited this café on 14 Mar (Saturday) and we had a reservation. The place was quite crowded, so I would recommend making a booking beforehand. The café itself was clean and cozy, which made it a nice place to relax. Water was provided at the table. We ordered the pumpkin pasta and a double cheese burger. The pasta was flavourful with a nice natural sweetness from the pumpkin, and it came with chunks of bacon which added a good savoury balance. The burger was loaded with ingredients and the patties were tender and juicy. The tater tots on the side were crispy and went well with the meal. There is also a public carpark conveniently located across the road with ample parking, which made getting there quite easy. Overall, a good dining experience.
Supernova at Tanjong Katong is definitely worth a visit! I’m usually not a fan of grilled cheese sandwiches, but theirs surprised me—in a good way. It was nicely done, flavourful without being overly greasy, and honestly one of the better ones I’ve tried. My friend ordered the acai bowl and that was a winner too—refreshing, well-balanced, and topped with generous portions of fruits and granola. One thing that stood out was the portion sizes. Both dishes were very filling, so you’ll definitely get your money’s worth here. The café itself has a nice vibe, great for a casual meal or just hanging out with friends. Service was decent and the food came out at a good pace. Overall, a solid spot at the East Coast side of town. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for hearty portions and good flavours—4/5 stars!
Apart from the swanky and cool looking vibes from outside, this place left much to desire. We only came where as the place we wanted to go to opposite was full. The menu which they placed outside did not indicate the pricing and when we were seated i was shocked at the food prices which were the north of $30 each. Despite it not being full house, we waited really long for our food and when it came, the portions sizes were so small that weren’t entirely full. Didn’t order more because of the long wait and crazy prices. The staff were also quite cold and aloof. Won’t be back here ever again
