"Visited Better Days Cafe & Bar on a Saturday evening for drinks with my friend. The staff are attentive and provided us a storage for our bags. It is a great place to chill in smaller groups as the seating area is limited and the music doesn't drown out conversations. If you prefer sour flavours, we highly recommend these Crafted Cocktails 🍸 1) Citrus Euphoria: smooth, well balanced 2) Patt's Sour: refreshing, tart 3) Sour with a Passion: tropical, most sour im my opinion We would love to come here again for more hangouts 🙂 (++ there's no GST and service charge!)"

"Great little suburban pub. Enjoyed the pub grub which was very reasonably priced - 3 dishes and 2 alcoholic drinks for less than $100. The owners are super chill, friendly and welcoming too. The inside is coolly decorated, and the music was at the ideal volume to still have conversation. More than happy to return."

"Tried Wingstop at Le Quest and enjoyed the experience. The wings were freshly prepared, flavourful, and served hot. There’s a good variety of flavours to choose from, and the portions are satisfying. Convenient location for nearby residents and a nice spot for a casual meal or takeaway."

"Really good portions and highly reccomend to get the course meal! we got to try many different things from the menu without overeating~ you can also order pizza that comes from their sister pizzeria next door! Staff were friendly and accommodating, and dishes were served at a well paced timing too! Highly recommend to get the seafood paella, prawns were sweet and the rice was packed with umami flavour from the lobster bisque, and the egg and potatoes (for something so simple it was surprisingly delicious) dessert portion was small but well thought out bc it was enough to be shared (we dont have a sweet tooth) Looking forward to visiting Mikey Taverna as the pizza dough is one of the best i’ve had!!"

"Whisk & Paddle offers a refreshing escape from the city, tucked away beside the greenery of Bukit Gombak Park. The peaceful setting creates a relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for breakfast, brunch or a leisurely coffee break. The menu features a good variety of café favourites, with generous portions and consistently satisfying flavours. The coffee is well made, and the desserts are worth saving room for. What makes the experience especially enjoyable is the tranquil environment, where you can unwind while enjoying views of the surrounding greenery. Service is friendly and attentive, and the spacious layout makes it comfortable even during busier periods. A charming neighbourhood café that combines good food, a pleasant ambience and a welcome connection to nature. Highly recommended. Piccolo latte!"

"Ordered the Greek salad ($12), seafood olio ($24), and mini burgers ($24). Food was decent overall. The seafood olio had baby octopus, prawns and mussels in a garlicky olive oil base. The mini burgers were small and easy for kids to eat, which worked well for my daughter. The café is located beside a horse stable area, so you can occasionally see horses being walked back from the field. That was the highlight for my daughter. Cosy place for a casual hangout with friends, and they also have happy hour. Parking was still quite plentiful when we visited."

"This chill late-night hangout in the West has everything in one spot. Private karaoke rooms for different group sizes, darts, pool, a live band, & a solid range of food & drinks (from burgers, seafood, pastas & truffle fries to steaks and even pork innards) — they’ve got you covered for a fun night out with friends. We had their Crisp-battered Dory Fish and Chips ($18.80) which had generous fish meat that was soft and melt-in-the-mouth, paired with a crispy batter. Our fav dish, hands down! Chargrilled Pork Collar w Baby Spuds ($24.80) was decent — a classic pork collar dish with a good portion size. I’m not really an innards person, but bf said their Small Intestines ($12.80) was decent & well-braised! We paired it with sambal belachan, which we appreciated for its spicy punch. Signature Thai Fish Cake ($12.80) was nicely seasoned with an ideal bouncy texture. Golden Crispy Hashbrown ($12.80) is a simple classic side that was nicely crisp !! Was quite disappointed with their Margarita ($18) actually… alcohol potency was alright, but the general consensus was that the drink had a slightly musty smell :”) Flaming Lamborghini ($48) was honestly a pretty cool experience !! The flaming pour makes it feel like a mini show at your table. It leans on the sweeter side — creamy and dangerously smooth thanks to the coffee liqueur, though at $48, it does feel like you’re mostly paying for the theatrics. We opted for their white chrysanthemum + rose + jasmine + lily Floral Tea ($12) blend, though personally I felt the tea notes could be a little stronger! PS: you can catch their live band every Mon-Sat from 8pm-12am !! They also offer FREE 3h KTV session from 3pm-1230am, with minimum $88 spend on drinks/alcohol & is valid Mon-Thurs only (not valid on Fri-Sun, PH & PH eves)."

"Patronised this outlet several times. Love the food items like fish and chips, steak frites and Iberico pork chop. Staff are friendly and attentive. They are able to recommend wines to complement the dishes. I usually request to chill the red wine and even decant. Will definitely patronise again."

"Really cool venue. Even thought it’s near the main road it’s blocked off by a garden wall. The staff are awesome - fast and friendly!! Options for food are great! They do curries, Thai and pizza. 3 different menus to choose from. A really nice place to come with friends with kids. Highly recommend. Recommend reservation if on busy night like a Friday, or if coming with a large group."

"We tried the spicy grilled fish and it was super fragrant and full of flavor. The other dishes were tasty too, nothing to complain about. Service was friendly and the China beer was surprisingly affordable. A satisfying and easy meal overall"

"Great place to chill! Great food and service. This place serves western and Taiwanese Cuisine. Ordered a seafood pasta previously, got beef noodle this time. Atmosphere is great too with a literal hut built within the restraurant. Servers are very friendly, chatted about the same water bottle we had. Carpark is quite limited at rail mall. You can choose to park along the roadside, but at your own risk! Recommend to come!"

"Their bbq pork is nice but their fried rice not worth the time. 50mins to an hour of waiting one fried rice is way too long. When ask for how long needed, no reply back not sure why so hard to give one estimate timing. Price range is reasonable. If going for those bbq food and beer this is not a bad place but definitely not for dinner. First time eat dinner wait until so tired and to be fair the taste for fried rice also can graded as normal nia nothing special."
