Patronised this outlet several times. Love the food items like fish and chips, steak frites and Iberico pork chop. Staff are friendly and attentive. They are able to recommend wines to complement the dishes. I usually request to chill the red wine and even decant. Will definitely patronise again.
We had a fantastic family dinner here. The seating is very comfortable and not noisy despite being quite full. Food and service was really great - the servers were really fast to settle and requests (extra cutlery/sauces/napkins) and they even gave our toddler a paper and crayons to draw on after the meal without us even asking! Very impressed and will definitely return :)
The gambas were good!! Although a tad oily. Pan seared cod was pretty good and moist as well. Not a fan of the steak though, cooked ok but maybe abit overdone? Felt quite dry and rubbery
Had a rare opportunity for lunch with my 85-y.o. mum at the local Wine Connection today and was delighted by the superb service by Liz, who looked after my frail mother with so much kindness and care. The food was good and good value, as usual, but the service today was impressive and beyond expectations. Well done, Liz! We hope to be back again soon.
One thing about wine connection is the variety of wine and a decent selection of food. It’s my goto place whenever I can’t decide where to head to. It would be great if wagyu steak is added to the menu. Update: This is a great place to chill on weekend with its cool ambience. What is great is the regular change in food menu and affordable wine. To me, Wine Connection is an icon of Singapore.
