Food came out fast and was yummy! π Kids eat free, so we had to try! π Visited on a Sunday evening (around 5pm) and glad we reserved a table - no wait! π Would definitely come back! Thank you π
The older waiter, clearly in charge, is ok. The young male waiter is terrible. Amongst many infractions, he just dumped the plates on the table, without regard of who ordered what. He didn't bring part of one order, the older gent had to get it. The food was awful. Truly. Dry, tasteless duck with squares of crispy dried oatmeal. Fish with chips like cardboard. Halibut that was dry and tasteless. & a margarita that tasted synthetic. I'm sure this is a good place for just a beer.
First time trying! Food was decent, steak was rather thin, but pastas were huge. Drinks were good, especially the margaritas. Service was not that great though.
Lazy Lizard at Sixth Avenue is a true neighborhood gem. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for casual dinners or drinks with friends. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, which makes every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. The nachos are a standout: crispy, generously portioned, and served with tasty dips that pair perfectly with a cold beer. Itβs the kind of snack that sets the tone for a great evening. Portions are hearty, pricing is fair, and the drinks menu offers a solid range of beers and cocktails. Whether youβre popping in for a quick bite or settling in for a longer night, the service and quality stay consistent. No surprise theyβve earned nods like the Singapore Food Master awards (2020β2022). Overall, Lazy Lizard delivers on its promise of being a cosy neighborhood spot with hearty Western fare, friendly staff, and a warm, welcoming vibe. Highly recommended if youβre in Bukit Timah and craving good food with good company.
Tried the pork rack, beef sirloin and aglio olio with prawns. All dishes tasted great, the pork rack was tender and juicy and prawns were big in size and delicious.
