"Prior to enrolling with Uptas, my knowledge of Chemistry was extremely shaky. Dr. Aw's classes changed that narrative entirely - his emphasis on conceptual learning rather than rote memorization allowed me to finally understand why certain reactions occurred instead of just memorizing how. Furthermore, his notes covered all essential material comprehensively so there were no gaps in comprehension. Uptas offers succinct cheat sheets, perfect for last-minute revision, that highlight must-knows before exams. After joining Uptas for just 5 months, my confidence had skyrocketed and my grade improved from borderline pass to an A2."

"I’m really thankful to Mr Chua from Winners Education for completely changing the way I see Chemistry. I went from a C6 in my Sec 3 EOYs to an A1 in O-Level Chemistry, and I also gained interest in the subject along the way. Mr Chua’s teaching is very clear and easy to understand. He focuses on understanding instead of memorising, so Chemistry doesn’t feel like a subject you need to mug for. His notes are so well-organised and his explanations are so clear that I barely had to study much outside of class, everything just made sense. He also uses simple analogies to explain difficult concepts, which really helped me remember and apply what I learned during exams. Because of his teaching, Chemistry became much less stressful and even somewhat enjoyable. I would highly recommend Mr Chua and Winners Education to anyone who wants to truly understand Chemistry and improve their results."

"i think that being in MuscleMath Secondary (bishan) under Mr Chiang and Mr Tim really helped me gain more confidence in doing math and helped me understand confusing concepts easily. Mr Chiang and Mr Tim are also very accommodating to every students' individual abilities during class which allowed students to learn and practice at their own suitable pace without feeling like they are being held back or falling behind. furthermore, Mr Chiang and Mr Tim are always contactable even after class for us to ask questions about the practices we do at home. this especially helped me during the O level period, where i would do practice papers and ask the teachers for help if i was unsure why i had gotten a question wrong. Overall, both Mr Chiang and Mr Tim provided me with the help, support and encouragement to reach my potential in doing maths! and allowed me to enjoy learning about and doing maths 😁"

"j1/j2 phy tut ms aznikahhhhhhh marymount ms aznikah has been my physics tutor through both j1 and j2, and she has played a huge role in helping me stay consistent despite the heavy h2 workload. physics used to be one of my stronger subjects, but with all the content across my other subjects, i struggled to keep up at times. she was always patient, clear in her explanations, and willing to revisit concepts until i really understood them. i’m genuinely grateful for her guidance, and i highly recommend her to anyone who needs a tutor who truly cares about their students’ progress."

"My journey with Mr Lee in the Learners lodge was a brief but wholesome one. After scoring c/d/e grades for almost all of the economic papers, I was dejected and lacked confidence in the subject. Furthermore, with less than 5 months left to A levels, I doubted whether I could make any improvements. Mr Lee, however, had more trust in his students than I have in myself; his professionalism and his unique kind of humour made daunting concepts easy to understand and lessons carefree. Furthermore, he goes out of his way to painstakingly mark student essays, a dedication that even school teachers don’t demonstrate at times, which helped me to realise my weakness in topics and brush up on them. With the help of Mr Lee, I approached my A levels with confidence and eventually achieved an A for economics, a grade that I didn't even dare to dream about. I don’t know how Mr Lee did it, but I am grateful for the trust he had in his students. While grades are a testament to a teacher’s teaching abilities, there is so much more that Kai Academy and Mr Lee himself have to offer. I was enlightened beyond academics, and I hope, as a prospective student, you can be too!"

"Julie is always helpful to arrange the logistics. We are very thankful to her support and referral for good tutors. Mr Kelvin gave quick solutions to anchor my son’s learning and he is very caring to my son. Math from Fail to now he is like top 3 in class. Happy to see my son’s growing confidence and interest in Math! We have just started him with Mr Ronnie on science and found Mr Ronnie was able to grow his interests! We are very happy with our experience! :)"

"My child's science teacher is Mr. James. He is the most dedicated teacher my daughter has had since joining Mind Stretcher for science tutoring. When he first took over the class, he called each parent to understand every student's characteristics and weaknesses so that he could tailor his teaching methods accordingly. Throughout the teaching process, Mr. James regularly communicates with parents via messages to update them on their child's learning progress. Whenever my daughter struggles with her homework, he patiently takes time after class to carefully explain the concepts to her until she fully understands. Since attending Mr. James' science classes, my daughter has made significant progress in science, which has also greatly reassured us as parents."

"I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Teacher Charmaine, Teacher Liu, and Teacher Min for their dedication and commitment to their students. A special thank you to Teacher Charmaine for her excellent guidance in Mathematics and English. Her patience, encouragement, and effective teaching methods have helped my son to pass the admissions exam in the mainstream school. I would also like to commend Teacher Liu for her dedication as a Chinese teacher. Her passion for teaching and ability to make learning engaging have greatly supported the sons' progress in the Chinese language. Lastly, my sincere gratitude to Teacher Min, the owner of the centre, for creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment. Thank you all for your hard work, care, and dedication. "My child received excellent guidance and support in Chinese from teachers Wan Ki, Siew Fong and Tan Cheng at SLC! The online lessons are well-structured, engaging, and suited to my child’s learning pace. The teachers are patient and provide useful practice and feedback. In addition, the teachers are accommodating to the timing of the make up lessons. The administrative support is great too. Highly recommend SLC for students who need help with their languages!"

"I recently attended the Lower Sec Success Workshop with my daughter. We found it useful as it gave us tips on transitioning from primary to secondary school. Secondary school is more depending on kids and it was useful as a parent to better understand the things to look out for across both Math and Science."

"Contrary to popular belief zenith is not just a place for free snacks and complimentary trips to USS. (the snacks are 10/10 and i miss free zenith outings) My science tutor, Mel, spent every Saturday of 2025 huddled in a stuffy and cold classroom just to teach my class about how gravity exists because Newton says so and how acids turn blue litmus paper red. As someone who didn’t enjoy science at all, i can assure you that having Mel as your teacher can change that problem! She’s attentive, funny and caring towards all her students. She answered questions outside of class time and helps give advice on how to live life to the fullest as a Secondary 4 prisoner of MOE 😞🙏 I 100% advertise Zenith as one of the best tution centres in SG simply because their teachers make learning fun and enjoyable! 10/10 would recommend you to listen to Mels fashion advice (most likely just shein pieces that are styled) #ilovemel #ilovezenith"

"My K1 son has been with HCL for a year. His Chinese was very poor at the beginning but since he started HCL, he has improved a lot. He is able to read Chinese well and his writing has improved so much. Huang Lao Shi is a very passionate and patient teacher who put a lot of care for her students. My son is motivated to learn under her and she would really take the time to make sure his writing strokes are correct. Huang Lao Shi is very encouraging to him and she is his favorite teacher. She makes learning Chinese fun and interesting for the children. Her students really enjoy the class and my son looks forward to his Chinese lessons with her."

"The english tutor Joe is very chill and the lessons usually go by quickly. The teaching method is different. Instead of practice papers after practice papers, Occra focuses on "what to write" by providing reading packs and "how to write" by doing multiple question analysis. Every session starts with a recap of last week's session, which helps students remember more. Occra focuses on welfare, allowing students to learn in a better emotional state. Occra is a place where learning and fun can take place simultaneously. So, if you find tuition boring, or need tuition in general, do try Occra out."
