Contrary to popular belief zenith is not just a place for free snacks and complimentary trips to USS. (the snacks are 10/10 and i miss free zenith outings) My science tutor, Mel, spent every Saturday of 2025 huddled in a stuffy and cold classroom just to teach my class about how gravity exists because Newton says so and how acids turn blue litmus paper red. As someone who didn’t enjoy science at all, i can assure you that having Mel as your teacher can change that problem! She’s attentive, funny and caring towards all her students. She answered questions outside of class time and helps give advice on how to live life to the fullest as a Secondary 4 prisoner of MOE 😞🙏 I 100% advertise Zenith as one of the best tution centres in SG simply because their teachers make learning fun and enjoyable! 10/10 would recommend you to listen to Mels fashion advice (most likely just shein pieces that are styled) #ilovemel #ilovezenith

Discovering Zenith and applying for English tuition here was the single BEST decision I have ever made in sec 4 for my studies. I decided to sign up for English because I knew I desperately needed help. I already knew my Chinese had no hope and CMI as my L1, so I had to rely on English, but my English was just as bad as my Chinese, frequently scoring C5 to 6. I didn't think anyone could help me because, how do you even teach English? It's a language, an abstract subject with no clear topic boundaries. It was already June and I was worried I'd fall too far behind the class and couldn't catch up or wouldnt be able to make significant improvement, but something in my gut told me to go for it anyway since things couldn't get any worse, so I signed up and hoped for the best. If nothing else then this could at least give me peace of mind that I didn't give up and actually made an effort to do my best and improve my English for O's. Zenith DELIVERED Mr John, the absolute goat, my guy is the most incredible tuition teacher I have ever had in all my life. He is a very down to earth, laid back guy that I'm not scared of asking questions to, like I am with most teachers. He gives comprehensive notes, notes he made himself, notes he stayed up till 2 am compiling, notes on everything you could ever need for English. Oral tips, sample essays, past year questions, how to identify and answer every question type in paper 2, how to do grammar properly to score well for editing instead of relying solely on ‘what sounds right’ (which I know 98% of yall have been doing), everything was in there. I had always wished to have collated notes for all the skills and question types but was too lazy to find some or create them myself because my knowledge and notes were all over the place, so it blew my mind to see that he had actually achieved what I had always wanted. I think the biggest impact he had on me was when teaching how to write essays. I was one of those people who completely banked on doing argumentative or discursive essay because it was the only thing I knew how to do. Obviously I knew I shouldn't put all my eggs in one basket and should have a backup essay type that I could write just in case argumentative was too difficult, but I didn't know what else to do, I didn’t like narrative and I had never even done a descriptive essay ever, my school was never good at teaching how to write such abstract essays with no clear marking guidelines. Through Mr John's teaching, I discovered that my way of learning was through examples. He showed me some example essays and paragraphs of descriptive essays and I don't know what he did or how he did it, but he explained the essay type in such a way that I realised I was starting to get it. By actually seeing what the correct thing was supposed to look like rather than just hearing about ‘how’ to write it, I started to get the hang of descriptive, especially when I practised writing a descriptive paragraph for the first time, albeit with reference to a sample, but it gave me an idea of what and how to write. Mr John and his teachings directly impacted me for O levels because I went from someone who had never written a descriptive essay before to someone who chose to write one for my paper 1 in English O's, I even used many good descriptive phrases from his samples in the essay. Mr John defied my every expectation and did what I thought was impossible. He actually managed to teach me English and made me feel prepared for O levels and I will forever be grateful for it. Mind you, I joined like mid way through the years and had consistently been scoring C5s and 6s for English, but miraculously managed to score A1 in O's for a subject I never thought i could do well in. I am so glad I found zenith, would take in JC if i need to, and would absolutely recommend to anyone who struggles in subjects that zenith offers, even ppl who think there's no hope, just give it a try, I think you may be surprised. Classes and teachers are okay. The admin staff need to show more professionalism in guiding parents and prospective students to the correct room instead of quizzing "what class? Which teacher?" When told the correct level (age), time, and name accurately, the admin staff will continue to quiz on.. "which teacher, can you confirm?" At which time, my response was to ask back... "How do I check your records? Shouldn't you be helping a first timer?" In the end, she had to ask another same level kid where his class was. Thanks but not thanks. First impression lasts. I'm gonna go somewhere else more pleasant and professional. How would a primary school kid going there for the first time know which teacher he she gonna get? Frustratation to the max. One star for the snacks put out.

I have been at zenith for slightly less than a year and my grade for phy,chem went from c5 in wa1 to a1 in O levels. I was under Mel for both physics and chem and safe to say that shes the goat😼. With weekly 2 hour long lessons, I was able to grasp concepts and topics that I was previously weak in. Mel is very patient and understanding and I was always able to pester her and ask her questions before, during and after classes (I even asked many of my questions through text and she answered every one of them) I would highly recommend joining zenith not only for the free food and welfare outings (ill miss these too) but also for their very friendly and understanding teachers(especially MEL). ill miss mel so much her lessons are a 10/10🤞🤞

Kevin from Zenith JC Math is literally my goat. Guy managed to drill ideas and readily clarify any misunderstandings and concepts in a direct way, and really aided my prep for A levels despite only enrolling in March. Furthermore, Kevin is a really cool and down to earth dude who not only teaches Math, his classes come with valuable life lessons and trust me, you will leave his class as a better person. Thank you for these few months Kevin and the Zenith team!
