SLC English Language Tuition and Chinese Tuition Centre

My child received excellent guidance and support in Chinese from teachers Wan Ki, Siew Fong and Tan Cheng at SLC! The online lessons are well-structured, engaging, and suited to my child’s learning pace. The teachers are patient and provide useful practice and feedback. In addition, the teachers are accommodating to the timing of the make up lessons. The administrative support is great too. Highly recommend SLC for students who need help with their languages!

My daughter went for tuition in secondary school chinese in SLC for last 2 years. She has a very patient and kind teacher and she looks forward to classes. Her chinese improved a lot and she had an A grade for her chinese this year. Her teacher gave detailed feedback every lesson which helps us a lot. I am so glad chosen SLC for my son English tuition. He has been constantly showing improvement. SLC is the only centre that been keeping me update of his progress on a weekly basis. Thanks to SLC my son received most outstanding improvement award this year.

Both my children transferred to SLC after the classes at their Chinese tuition centre had to close down. I must say it was a blessing in disguise. After moving here, they have enjoyed their Chinese lessons much more; they enjoy the class and there has been marked improvements in their grades. The approach at SLC is a lot more personalised unlike in the other centre where it was very commercialisés so my children can learn and improve at their own pace.

SLC is the right choice I made this year! First, the location is real easily accessible, only about 5 minutes walking from Mary mount MRT exit B, which suits parents like me who have always tapped on the public commuting system. I still remembered the day when I first walked in to the school with my girl, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. Despite we were lost at first, we were then guided and very soon we got our way. The curriculum is well-structured, with a balance of grammar, vocabulary, and conversational practice and I must give my special thanks to Teacher Christ who has been so dedicated and patience. I saw improvement within 6 months, not the grade itself but the ability to describe things in details and flowery words in her essay writing. Now that finally I have a peace of mind after months of struggles in order to guide her.
