"Dropped by Randy Indulgence Acai Bar at AMK Hub for some drinks and light bites 🍵🍓 We ordered their Matcha Latte (2 for $10 promo) and a small Protein Acai Bowl (original house blend with honey). Their matcha was surprisingly good — thick with a nice umami depth, and made with oat milk, which gave it a smooth and creamy finish. Honestly, one of the better matcha drinks I’ve had around Ang Mo Kio. The Protein Acai Bowl was just as enjoyable. It had a nutty banana flavour profile, and felt like a high-protein, lower-carb dessert option — indulgent yet not too heavy. "I had a very pleasant experience at the AMK Hub outlet. The staff, Yu Jing provided excellent service and was warm, friendly, and professional throughout my visit. From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with a genuine smile that made me feel welcomed and comfortable. She ensured everything was handled smoothly during the entire dining experience. The food was fresh, delicious, and well prepared. Every dish was enjoyable and truly exceeded my expectations. Overall, it was an excellent experience with both great food and outstanding service. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to visiting again, especially to be served by Yu Jing once more 👍☺️"

"We visited after seeing their TikTok promos and were not disappointed. We tried the mutton satti soru, chicken chuka masala with bread, cheese pizza, and the signature Commando, paired with cocktails and draft beer. The portions were generous and packed with flavor; the cocktails were well-balanced and the beers fresh and creamy. Service was warm and attentive, the music and vibe were relaxed, and the ambience felt just right. With reasonable prices, it’s a perfect spot for a laid-back weekend chill-out. #FollowMyTasteBud"

"Suddenly had a craving for Mexican food, and this was the nearest place to us. We came in without expecting much, but the food actually exceeded our expectations. The standout dish was definitely the beef quesadillas — flavourful, cheesy, and something we’d happily order again. We also had the burrito, which caught us off guard as it came drenched in a pool of sauce. We’ve never had a burrito served this way before, so we’re not sure if we ordered a different style. It tasted alright, but we felt it could have been filled with more ingredients. The loaded fries were good too, though we thought they could do with a little more salsa. Service was prompt, the overall experience was pleasant, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. We’d definitely be back the next time we’re craving Mexican food."

"This place is very awesome for a gathering! They have Karaoke room for singing too! Perfect for gathering session with friends. There is open table on the outside for casual singing or listening songs. Perfect for friends talking The place is super convenience too, within 100m there is busstop and mall already. Way to go! Transport is super convenience! On top of everything, the service is super super good! The waitress was on top service and giving us very comfy experience over here. Definitely a place to try if you want to have a short drink or some singing! The beer cost is relatively reasonable! The staff remained warm, friendly, and attentive, serving every patron with remarkable patience and efficiency even during the busy rush. "I ordered the 3 meat platter for $44 which comes with the beef cheek, pork belly and chicken chop. For sides, i got the fries and pasta ($3 top-up). The beef cheek is fine, but pork belly and chicken chop just average. For sides, both the fries and pasta were just average as well. The pasta sauce is actually pretty good but pasta itself was overcooked, it will be very worth the $3 top up if the pasta can be more al-dente. Overall, i had a decent dinner but i am expecting better quality from all the 5 star reviews here, so i was quite disappointed."

"Went over for weekday lunch and am suprised that full house lunch crowd. Rounding's curry chicken is legit. Not just marketing fluff. The chicken is soft, tender with thick curry that is not too spicy (Less than McSpicy). Paired with Yuan Yang Ice, getting my car groomed while having a great lunch made it a very satisfying experience. Highly recommend you to try the curry chicken as well as other dishes. Friend ordered a Sweet and Spicy dont know what, he says it is good as well."

"It’s a place that focuses on seafood so price point overall is high! I’d say it’s a must to make reservations esp on weekends as it was kinda full when we arrived (we did make a reservation luckily)! The menu was quite limited on non-seafood items for a tzechar style place. Crab bee hoon soup - their signature dish. TBH the soup was rly good! Super flavorful. However there’s a limit on the noodle and soup add ons. Don’t quite get it as they were mentioning it depends on your crab size, but the add ons were served separately. Sliced fish caipoh - a more affordable and tbh easier way to enjoy steamed fish! Not bad! Butter pork ribs - creamy and flavorful, not bad! Sambal kangkong- slightly spicy, this was not bad! Claypot tofu - this was kind of plain. It was recommended but quite average. Overall, an okay place if you’re bringing a group of seafood lovers but if you’re looking for variety (including non seafood) then not so suitable!"

Today's meal checked all the important boxes: ☆ Boned-in chops ☆ Tender meat ☆ Sauce not starchy ☆ Wallet friendly ($8) The salad was ordinary though: lettuce with brown dressing. Would have been better if they served coleslaw 🤔😆 Fries* were crinkled-cut kind; lightly salted. I understand this can be traded up for waffle fries with an extra dollar spend 👍 (*The alternative would be spaghetti.) Mashed potato was smooth; the brown sauce wasn't overpowering. All in, a satisfying meal that's light on sodium and underpinned by great pork chops 😋 #MHTamChiak spied a tomahawk pork steak on their menu (@$17; was told it's 450g), so will definitely be back to try this rarer cut 😉👌"

"A secret hunt in Ang Mo Kio. I had two gatherings at this coffeeshop and I must say it is relatively easy and stress-free to organise. The draft beers are good. V Happy Crab Tze Char also serve surprisingly tasty dishes. Their curry fish head is better than the other two coffeeshops within walking distance to Lian Wah. I also order truffle fries and Sea Bass in Miso broth from the western food stall. The portion is generous at afforadable price. However, don't be fooled by the happy hour on Tue and Wed. I was a bit disappointed when the sales person told me that only one type of beer is under the promotion. Luckily the promotional draft beer is good. Location is a little secluded but there are ample carparks."
