A secret hunt in Ang Mo Kio. I had two gatherings at this coffeeshop and I must say it is relatively easy and stress-free to organise. The draft beers are good. V Happy Crab Tze Char also serve surprisingly tasty dishes. Their curry fish head is better than the other two coffeeshops within walking distance to Lian Wah. I also order truffle fries and Sea Bass in Miso broth from the western food stall. The portion is generous at afforadable price. However, don't be fooled by the happy hour on Tue and Wed. I was a bit disappointed when the sales person told me that only one type of beer is under the promotion. Luckily the promotional draft beer is good. Location is a little secluded but there are ample carparks.
Rustic coffeeshop, where you can dine and listen to country music which somehow let times passes slightly slower in this madness concrete jungle. Unfortunately, it is changing management soon and all will be changed including the nice morning breakfast of fried noodles as shown...
Halal Zichar serving delicious Curry fish head..very home-cooked style.
The coffee shop is clean and pleasant. I came for the chicken hotpot but it is open only from 4pm onwards. Hence I tried the 5 Star Dim Sum stall just besides it. Dim Sum is freshly made and served piping hot. Tasted delicious especially the Chee cheong Fun which is very smooth and wrapped round a deep-fried vietnamese roll inside with pork and shrimps. Other stalls in the coffee shop also look good. The teochew porridge stall is also busy with a constant flow of patrons. Kopi C was very good and the coffee stall even offers Kraft beer from the tap! Will definitely come back again to try the chicken hotpot and other stalls in the coffee shop.
Love that they serve crafts beers on tap here. Had the Yum Cha tea ale by Alive Brewing and it was delicious. Unfortunately, when I visited on a Wednesday night (around 9), there was not a single food stall open so I had to grab food at a nearby coffeeshop.
