"Pizza and steak are delicious. Pork chop is quite dry. Their beer seem to be cheaper than other bars & bistro nearby."

"Nice place to chill after work that accepts CDC vouchers. A nice neighbourhood getaway just below the block. Food might be a little pricey depending on what you order. Outdoors are pet friendly, and you can bring your dogs there. Place is well ventilated and cool, an escape from the evening sg heat. I like the Summer drink very much(i forgot the name) - its a green fruity soda with little tadpole jelly bites in it - the tadpole jelly is very nostalgic for me. Their soup comes with toasted bread slices, and their carbonara is very tasty and creamy. For their brunch sets it is also quite tasty - their eggs benedict and smoked salmon with hollandaise eggs are quite nice and foolproof. Burgers aren't very good though, I'd recommend you try the non burger stuff. Waffles and ice cream are very good, and I think it is worth the value, there are a large range of ice creams to choose from."

"Okay.. why 3 stars? Because got many small cockroaches! 2 small one crawled up my leg! I think I killed around 3 that night. Maybe the owner can do some cleaning? The stretch of fridge containing the beer really look great! Atmosphere really okay one but the small Cockroaches…. Okay.. Put that aside. Food is okay. We tried the Chinese food and the western food there. Taste and price is fine (except that the fried chicken is kinda over fried…) But the cleanliness part.. hope they can work on it."

"We are fans of Jack’s Place since our teenage days 30+ years ago & grateful to be celebrating JP 60th Anniversary this year. The $6 steak deal is an amazing way to introduce our kids to JP dinning.. The efficiency & quality steak meals delivered under over-whelming crowd was top-notch. The JP team lead by manager with spike hair was outstanding & welcoming. Cheers JP to another 60 years & more!"

"Misrepresentation. It's not a craft beer place. Only commercial beers on tap, and only less commercial option was the BIRA IPA in can in the fridge. Staff totally clueless and couldn't even ring in the can of beer at the POS n the can of IPA sat n got warm. Then, offers ice for the beer that had warmed up..... In any case, the supposed IPA is so sweet it tastes more like a shandy"

"I ordered the char kway teow and to my surprise, it was pretty decent. The cockles were pretty large and that was the best part about this dish. The flavour profile was a tad too sweet for my liking and needed more char. Otherwise it’s a dish to ease your temporary CKT cravings."
