I ordered the char kway teow and to my surprise, it was pretty decent. The cockles were pretty large and that was the best part about this dish. The flavour profile was a tad too sweet for my liking and needed more char. Otherwise it’s a dish to ease your temporary CKT cravings.
No wok hey but edible Hokkien mee. For $6 per plate, can spend your money on other better food unless you are craving for HKM and all the shops are closed.
Jan26- Came back to try carrot cake. So so. Average n ok. Glad to have tried it. _______________ Above average and better than most places. Cooked by a Prc and u gona give him credit for being able to cook this standard of hkk mee. Definitely not the best but reasonable. Nice pork lard and fresh pork/prawns given. Chilli was spicy as well, nice Will try their carrot cake on another day.
Not bad if you want to dine-in and everything else is closed. The fried egg comes with a runny yolk, which is nice.
Hard to select that final I gotten a pack of black Cai Dao kueh, its a lady that cooked. The carrot cake is fragrant & decent nice. Though abit nua but still good to crave it!
