"Came by to try out their brunch menu, but left wanting. For drink, I chose the Cacao Matcha ($9), but what arrived was a barely-there iced matcha which tasted closer to water than actual matcha tea, and there was barely a hint of cacao throughout the drink. After raising my feedback to the staff, they said that this was how it usually is - and to think they charged $9 for this! - but kindly offered to switch the drink to another of my choice. I then got the Matcha Strawberry ($9) which, while better, leaned too much on the sweeter side. Perhaps it would be best to stick to their chocolatey variants next time. As for the food, they were alright. We shared the Cacao Tea Somen ($12), Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($16), Fried Chicken Poppers ($12), Korean Chicken Stew ($17), and Seared Salmon ($19). Everything was nicely plated and flavours were good, although my friend did realise that the meat around his chicken bone were still pinkish. Overall, ambience and vibes were great, but the flavours and price-competitiveness of their food could be better."

"Tentsuru delivers a technically excellent tempura experience, and what stood out most was the batter. It was exceptionally light, crisp, and delicate, enhancing the natural flavors of the ingredients without overwhelming them. The quality of the produce and the precision of the preparation were evident throughout the meal, and the service was attentive and polished. That said, while the execution was impressive, the overall menu felt very classical and traditional. For diners who appreciate authenticity, this will certainly be a strength. However, after experiencing the restaurant, we felt that there was limited innovation or creativity in the progression of the courses. The dishes were well-made, but there were few surprises or memorable elements that differentiated the experience from other high-end tempura establishments. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal and a testament to the chef’s technical skill. However, to encourage repeat visits and retain loyal customers, it may be worthwhile to introduce more creative seasonal offerings, unique ingredient combinations, or signature dishes that showcase a stronger sense of innovation while still respecting the traditions of tempura. A good meal today, with the potential to become an even more compelling dining destination in the future"

"Mandi roasted chicken rice was so soft and aromatic, comes in a glass case with charcoal. One portion of the roasted chicken rice is enough for 2 pax Asian. Tomato chicken roast rice is nice as well. Watermelon juice super tasty. Adana beef kebab is very well marinated with a lot of flavours. Aglio olio prawn pasta was salty. Babaganoush is beautifully plated with a huge bunch of bread (for Asian standard). Space is very big, spacious, authentic vibes of a middle eastern restaurant. Outdoor seating too. Servings are all huge. Middle eastern music as well. Staff are entertaining and friendly, food comes quite quickly. Thanks to Anjum, and Wayne for making our experience so good, have a lifetime membership of 20% too! I really like sincere generosity of restaurants which allow us to use the 20% on the spot, no catch compared to other restaurants that say need to spend on another day etc."

"Impromptu decision to have some dim sum, and boy did we enjoy ourselves. Would highly recommend a reservation as they tend to get quite busy. Loved every dish that we ordered. Crispy pork belly was amazing... the vinegar pork trotters was delicious. Was only 3 of us so we ordered half a peking duck, hopefully to preserve some space to try out some of the many delicious items available. We were so full that we could only order 1 dessert to share, which was deliciously recommended by one of the servers, it did not disappoint and would definitely return again soon."

"We had a great dining experience here. Our group of 20 gathered to celebrate my sister's birthday, and the restaurant provided us with a private room, which was fantastic. The food was delicious overall, although not every dish suited my personal preference. The buffet was reasonably priced, and there was a wide variety of dishes to choose from. In fact, we were too full to try everything! The service was good and the staff were attentive. The only minor feedback is that the second round of orders took quite some time to arrive. This may have been because they were serving multiple portions of the same dishes for our large group at the same time. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends."

"Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with a nice atmosphere and comfortable setting. The food was generally good and enjoyable, though personally I felt it was still missing that extra touch of refinement and distinction that would make it truly memorable. The dessert section, however, felt rather minimal in both presentation and variety. While neat and simple, it lacked the visual elegance and selection one might expect, and some of the desserts themselves were unfortunately not particularly memorable. Service was decent overall, and the ambience definitely made the experience more enjoyable 😊"

"We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner here. Ana served us and helped to shift to another table that we preferred. The food was good as usual. We loved the tanglin-exclusive sourdough flatbread (Garlic Prawn and Avocado). The portion is surprisingly large, and very flavorful. The braised lamb leg is bit dry and tough though."

"We had the oxtail stew and the butter chicken, both were delicious. The waitress warned us that the butter chicken is very spicy, but it was fine for us. If you can eat mala hotspot, this is going to be fine. The portions are generous, so don't order too many mains if you want dessert afterwards. The staff were also very friendly and quick with our order. Thanks Ginny. Vibe is casual and cozy."

"I had dinner here with my family of 18 pax. Not many large tables, mostly suitable for 2 or 4 pax. Location located right in the center of Dempsey, easy to find. Parking is easy. The food is pretty decent. Feels like fusion concept, but the flavor profile leans towards Indian cuisine. The cocktails were bad! I’m not sure what went wrong there, but i definitely recommend to avoid them. Service was alright, nothing special or particularly memorable. The venue itself was packed, but I’m fairly certain that’s only due to the current promotion. They are offering 50% off most food items (excluding cheese dishes like pizza). Overall a good experience. But if you take away that 50% promo, the base prices are actually insane for what you get. It’s an okay backup option if you're stuck, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way to visit again unless I had no other choices."
