We had a great dining experience here. Our group of 20 gathered to celebrate my sister's birthday, and the restaurant provided us with a private room, which was fantastic. The food was delicious overall, although not every dish suited my personal preference. The buffet was reasonably priced, and there was a wide variety of dishes to choose from. In fact, we were too full to try everything! The service was good and the staff were attentive. The only minor feedback is that the second round of orders took quite some time to arrive. This may have been because they were serving multiple portions of the same dishes for our large group at the same time. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends.

The duck was the highlight of our meal, although i must add that we really enjoyed everything we ordered. The dry green curry waygu beef was super tender. I love how they have unique thai dishes. We celebrated my birthday here and was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary dessert. It was another highlight for us. It was a taro custard and it was amazing!

★★★☆☆ Mixed – acceptable overall but with notable food, service, and value gaps against the fine dining billing. Our Amex Platinum Table for Two dinner at Sarai Fine Thai (Tanglin Mall) fell short of the fine dining billing — only the dessert held up. Others have clearly had better experiences here, which is partly why our expectations were high going in. The starters platter was the best course, particularly the southern-style grilled chicken in yellow curry marinade. We asked to order extras; we were told it was not on the menu — an odd gap. From there, quality slipped. The crispy pork belly read as double-fried and dry, with no curry paste presence. The celtuce with garlic and yellow bean paste was plain in look and taste. The salted egg yolk fried rice had little salted-egg character. The extras we ordered à la carte for the kids were average at best. Only the Thai mango cheesecake with pistachios was genuinely good. Service felt reluctant for a fine dining setting. Paid-per-pax water was never refilled, and new courses arrived on a laden table before earlier plates had been cleared. The Amex benefit exists to convert diners into returning paying customers — the bar is "worth coming back at full price". For us, this visit didn't clear that bar. Tip: both the promotional set and the à la carte extras we tried were underwhelming, so calibrate expectations regardless of which menu you book. Unlikely to return on the strength of this visit.

I recently tried the premium buffet at Sarai Thai Fine Dining and it was a really enjoyable experience. The portions are thoughtfully sized, which I really appreciate for a buffet like this. Instead of huge servings, each dish comes in smaller portions, so you can comfortably try many different items on the menu without getting full too quickly. It makes the whole experience feel more like a tasting journey rather than just a typical buffet. We went for the premium option, which gives you access to a wider selection of dishes, and it was definitely worth it. There was a great variety, and everything we tried was well-prepared and nicely presented. Overall, a very satisfying buffet experience if you enjoy Thai food and like being able to sample many dishes in one meal. Would happily return again.

Really nice Thai restaurant on the 3rd floor of Tanglin Mall. The decor and the ambience is really nice and I love white table tops. I was using the American Express Love Dining promotion, and they even had a special menu for it. The green curry with wagyu beef had really nice cuts of beef in it. I also ordered the deep fried Seabass, which was interestingly served in a roll (fillet part). Everything was deboned and nicely crunchy…. Although I didn’t enjoy the sauce very much. Overall, it was a good experience. Pricing was definitely on the high side even with the promotional discount.
