"I recently visited Groove Restaurant and had a lovely experience. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, with a luxurious and elegant vibe that makes it perfect for a special outing. Located at the scenic Dubai Marina Walk, the restaurant offers a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy your meal. I tried their Iftar buffet, and it was very well spread with a variety of delicious options. The food was tasteful and nicely presented, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. It’s definitely a great place to visit, especially during Ramadan for a delightful Iftar experience."

"Last Friday, my colleagues and I just wanted to hang out a bit after work. The food was decent. I mean it good enough for some bites to go along with drinks. Drinks were alright; the beer had a good amount of foam, and the pizza was tasty with a nicely balanced flavour. Service was average, they initially brought us the wrong pizza, but fortunately, they waived the charge, which we appreciated."

"You need to be REALLY CAREFUL! Dishes such as crab are priced by weight - the advertised price looks very attractive, but in reality you are paying for 75% shell which you can't eat! We were charged 177 Singapore dollars for crab (see the photo) of which you could probably eat 20 dollars worth, and as others have said, the taste not up to much just a sweet chilli sauce or ketchup with a tiny bit of chilli. The 'soup' was a scam too! 48 dollars for some stock with a few bits of veg thrown in, very little crab meat, no idea where they get their prices from!? Stick to set price items only. Oh, toilets were grim too, so not sure about the rest of the hygiene regime! How this place is so highly rated is beyond me! So many 5 star first time reviews, begs the question, are they genuine or just friends or family members posting the reviews to keep the numbers up!?? Very suspect. The 'owners' have finally replied to my honest review 6 weeks after the initial review. Apologising for mistakes by their staff regarding clarity of pricing and suggesting they 'want to make things right' If ever in Singapore I would steer well clear of this rip-off restaurant. The only thing they could do to make this right would be to give me a 50% refund - even then that is me being generous!"

"My visit to Chimi’s Especial at the waterfront near Clarke Quay was an absolute delight and one of the most vibrant Latin dining experiences I’ve had in Singapore. The ambience was lively yet relaxed, with beautiful bayfront views, upbeat music, and an energetic atmosphere that made the evening feel special from the moment we arrived. The service staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured every dish arrived fresh and beautifully presented. The restaurant has quickly become popular for its bold Latin American flavours, vibrant setting, and excellent dining experience. We ordered an impressive spread, and every dish brought something memorable to the table. The Croquetas De Queso Azul were crispy on the outside with a rich, creamy blue cheese filling that melted perfectly in the mouth. The Buff-O-Wings were juicy, flavourful, and coated with just the right balance of spice and tanginess. One of the highlights of the evening was definitely the Chipotle Chicken Doritos Loaded Nachos — generously topped, crunchy, cheesy, and packed with smoky chipotle flavour that made it impossible to stop eating. The Anticuchos De Albóndigas added a unique Latin twist with tender meatballs full of seasoning and char-grilled aroma. The Queso Fundido was another crowd favourite, served bubbling hot with stretchy melted cheese that paired wonderfully with tortillas. To balance the rich flavours, the Pineapple Juice was refreshing, naturally sweet, and perfect for Singapore’s warm evening weather. Finally, the Maracuyá Tres Leches Cake (ordered twice as we couldn’t stop savoring the taste of it) ended the meal beautifully with its soft texture, passionfruit flavour, and creamy sweetness that was indulgent without being overwhelming. Overall, Chimi’s Especial delivers not just fantastic food but also an unforgettable dining vibe. It is a perfect place for group gatherings, celebrations, or simply enjoying great Latin-inspired food with stunning waterfront views in Singapore."

"The food are awesome. Its budget friendly for a fine dining restaurant around Marina area. Staff has good service specially the filipina lady and their manager. They promised free ice cream to my kids but like a tablespoon mini cup only. But its fine, overall, we are happy customer here. 👌"

"Went there for a weekend brunch. The main issue is the parking. Getting to the valet or reaching the parking lot is quite frustrating and can already put you in a bad mood before you even arrive. That said, the food is very good and high quality. It would be great to see a bit more variety in the brunch menu though. Service was very good, and the music really added to the atmosphere. Overall, I’d give it 3 stars."

"A SUPERB meal. My family and i have always loved PS cafe, but this was actually a standout! Firstly a big shout out to our amazing waiter Kelvin who was 10/10 attentive and very on top of service. Excellent service, thank you so much for serving us last evening. The food was WOW. Calamari - amazing as ever. The roast chicken - everything on that plate was *chef’s kiss*. The sauce and mash was to die for and chicken was perfectly cooked. And the salmon. Man. I don’t know what they did in the sauce but i could like that plate clean.. very good white sauce that complemented both perfectly cooked fish and vegetables well. Desserts - you never go wrong with the double blackout cake and sticky date pudding. Even the coffee that paired with dessert was great too. Will be coming back! You’ve just made yourself our number 1 place to go before theatre shows! Thank you!"

"The Club, Marina Bay Sands: My go-to spot for coiffed business meets. The dramatic high ceilings with Anthony Gormley’s metal twist art piece perched gingerly above. The dramatic reception with a snail-like coil entrance whisks you to the beautiful bar and plush seats. I quit drinking but made an exception for their pineapple old fashion which is theatrics meet sophistication. 2 mini pineapple kebabs with pork slices are placed over a mini smoke pit, lit live for your entertainment. I had good to go – salmon was good and the burrata was beautifully presented even though they were doggy bagged. Jacko is super helpful and staff are generally warm. An annoyance is the staff forgot to add points to my membership and I had to call in to add them. As it’s a retrospective process, it takes a week. eatstylishtravelstylish"

"Great bar, awesome owner and good beer. Visited yesterday with my father to hide out of the rain, met Ed the owner and the rest of his team Haziq, Manish, Kanan and Liz. They showed me the adjacent wine bar and awesome speakeasy bar too. Tried a rum id not had before. Look forward to returning at some point."
