You need to be REALLY CAREFUL! Dishes such as crab are priced by weight - the advertised price looks very attractive, but in reality you are paying for 75% shell which you can't eat! We were charged 177 Singapore dollars for crab (see the photo) of which you could probably eat 20 dollars worth, and as others have said, the taste not up to much just a sweet chilli sauce or ketchup with a tiny bit of chilli. The 'soup' was a scam too! 48 dollars for some stock with a few bits of veg thrown in, very little crab meat, no idea where they get their prices from!? Stick to set price items only. Oh, toilets were grim too, so not sure about the rest of the hygiene regime! How this place is so highly rated is beyond me! So many 5 star first time reviews, begs the question, are they genuine or just friends or family members posting the reviews to keep the numbers up!?? Very suspect. The 'owners' have finally replied to my honest review 6 weeks after the initial review. Apologising for mistakes by their staff regarding clarity of pricing and suggesting they 'want to make things right' If ever in Singapore I would steer well clear of this rip-off restaurant. The only thing they could do to make this right would be to give me a 50% refund - even then that is me being generous!

We ordered bamboo clams, chilli crab, and lobster with "invisible noodle". Paid > 200$ per person. Clam looked like calamari, chilli crab taste like tomato sauce + hot sauce. Crab and lobster are overcooked for 200$ pp. Can't figure how they got 4.8 rating. It's ok if the bill is 40$.

My son wanted authentic singapore chili crab with riverside atmosphere. Marina Seafood is an excellent choice. The crab is fresh & juicy, the sauce is perfect for mantau dip on the side. We also ordered shrimp and squid. All good, tasty and fresh. Service is also excellent. Despite quite crowded, the guy secured us a table right at the riverfront. Friendly & chill

Enjoyed a very tasty meal at the Marina Seafood House on Quay street in Singapore. We started with a couple of Tiger Beers while enjoying the delightful setting along the Singapore Strait. You have a great view of the Marina Bay Sands. We ordered two of the restaurant’s signature dishes: one half Peking Duck and one Black Pepper Crab. The Peking Duck was perfectly prepared with crisp skin and most of its fat fully rendered. It came with two sauces and several pancakes, and cucumber slices. The duck was moist and tender and very tasty. This was the first time we have had Black Pepper Crab. It was served mostly cracked covered with a thick, spicy black pepper sauce. You were provided plastic gloves, and a crab pick along with a cracker. Be prepared for a somewhat messy challenge getting the crab out of the body and shell. But it was certainly worth the effort! The crab was succulent and very tasty with its black pepper sauce. They also gave you Milk bread buns to dip in and soak up the sauce. What treat. Before you leave check out their tanks which have some gigantic live crabs.

The Staff are nice and friendly. Especially the waitress name Camille. We pay a little expensive because we order King crab and it was so yummy 😋😋😋
