"I am glad my favourite gelato hang out opened at Mandai. It is so convenient to go and after a visit to the zoo my family and I can enjoy a scoop or two gelatos. Gelato with waffle cone is the best. This was also my first time trying their waffle. It was so delicious because the waffle was soft with generous amount of gelato. It looked pretty too."

"If you’re looking for a chill spot with great food and a fun atmosphere, this place is worth checking out. The skewers are absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled just right. Every bite hits the spot. Pairing them with Mapo tofu, refreshing Brian's cucumber salad, and sourkraut fish is my favorite combo :) What really makes this place stand out is the ambience. It’s relaxed and welcoming, whether you’re hanging out with friends or bringing the whole family along. You can play billiards or sing your heart out with their free videoke setup, which adds a really fun and lively vibe to the experience. It’s not just a place to eat, it’s a place to unwind, laugh, and spend quality time together. Great food, great atmosphere, and entertainment all in one!"

"I came for lunch with my colleague after nice reviews. We ordered the original Thai wanton mee, grilled pork, burger & kopi & it didn't disappoint. The wanton mee was spot on with springy noddle & wanton with good fillings. The grilled pork was flavourful & juicy. Even the kopi c was solid, the gao type. Lastly, the environment was cozy with strong Aircon."

"Dinner buffet . Low quality, totally not worth the money (even with the discount given to hotel guest). Non existent service Breakfast : also not worth it. Carbs carbs carbs. Very little protein This review is specifically about the dinner buffet. I understand this is mandai. I understand that you intend to take advantage of us being a captive audience. Just don't make it so obvious it's embarrassing. Especially being a Banyan Tree Hotel you should hold yourself to certain standards. The price is not cheap. You pay the same as a 5 star hotel in town or even sentosa, but the quality is far below. (See pics of the food) No carving station. Just mass produced protiens. The beef is a thinly sliced fatty piece of meet fried in kalbi sauce. The cold seafood and salmon +octopus sashimi looks sad . When they place it on the bottom shelf so that you have to bend down to reach, you can tell they are embarrassed about serving it and this is a not a centerpiece. You get ome shriveled and dry prawns on a bottom shelf , some clams shells (can't see the meat). The sashimi is sliced so thinly I mistook it for smoked salmon . Dessert is also so so. My kids love ice cream but they passed on the sad looking plain vanilla and choco flavours which sat lonely in large freezer which could have help more exciting varieties. Then there is the non existent service. Nobody came to clear our plates!! They were much faster during breakfast. At dinner in an almost empty restaurant, wait staff would literally walk pass and not notice the used dishes piled high. Water was also self service, so make you wonder what they spend their time doing."

"Had lunch after visiting the Rainforest Wild and Bird Paradise. It was a calm and quiet place to take a break after walking around the attractions. The place was clean and peaceful not many people even during lunch time. I had the vegetarian hor fun and a cup of kopi-si. The food was simple with a fair portion. It’s a self-service setup where you place and collect your own order. A nice spot to rest, catch up with friends or even get some work done. However there no discount for Wildlife members."

"The Singapore Zoo outlet has cute animations and themed touches that are unique to this branch, which adds a fun touch to the dining experience. The food was served warm and tasted delicious — in fact, I found it noticeably better than some of the other Sushiro outlets I’ve visited. The uni was quite nice as well and exceeded my expectations. Definitely a pleasant surprise after a day at the zoo."

"Ordered Sambal Prawn Skewer and Kids Chicken nuggets. Prawns — So so only. I think they already half bbq the prawn, after receiving an order, they bring out to bbq again. Prawns meat not as nice anymore. Kids Chicken Nuggets. Bad. Both Chicken Nuggets and Fries was being serve cold to us. Not nice at all. Food were supposed to served HOT and not COLD."
