I am glad my favourite gelato hang out opened at Mandai. It is so convenient to go and after a visit to the zoo my family and I can enjoy a scoop or two gelatos. Gelato with waffle cone is the best. This was also my first time trying their waffle. It was so delicious because the waffle was soft with generous amount of gelato. It looked pretty too.
Waffles were amazingly crispy, gelato as nice as all other outlets, service was really prompt (Auntie Ah Zhen was really helpful and smiley, thank you!). Ambiance for this outlet is great with nice seats, will definitely be back for more ice cream and affogato
Had such a lovely treat at Birds of Paradise in Mandai Wildlife Reserve! 🌿✨ The gelato was super smooth and not overly sweet — perfect after a long walk around the park. The botanical flavours are unique and refreshing, especially in Singapore’s hot weather. The waffle cone was crispy and fragrant, pairing so well with the gelato. Service was friendly and efficient even though it was quite crowded. Definitely a nice cooling stop for both kids and adults.
Got the pistachio gelato, it was lovely. Cone is a bit unusual, tastes like kuih loyang, which is personally not for me. Will probably stick to cup in the future.
Visited this shop after we went to the Bird Park. Staff recommended the strawberry basil and one other flavour. Highly recommend the strawberry basil. Very surprising combination of flavour yet so good and addictive! We visited near closing time, so the waffles were out. Portion size is ok. There are some promos and you can get extra toppings but I recommend trying just the gelato first.
