"My child was admitted to RI after PSLE 2025, and I would like to thank FIVE STAR TUITION CENTRE for the support along the way. My child attended Primary 6 Science and Math tuition here. We are especially thankful to Mdm Mani, who is very dedicated and responsible. She puts in a lot of effort to make sure the students understand the concepts and get enough practice. This centre is especially suitable for children who need more practice. My child doesn’t really like doing homework at home, so most of the PSLE practice was done at the centre, which helped a lot. Of course, every child is different. What worked for us may not work for everyone. It’s most important to find a tuition centre that suits your own child."

"My son join Happy Tutors when he’s in Sec 3(2022). At that time his results of Chemistry and Physics just passed only. So I decided to let him join Happy Tutors. Surprisingly the teacher in this centre are very responsible and caring. Especially Teacher Jack who teach him Physics. He always teach over time , which mean he willing to spend more time to teach his students although the class only 2-3 students . I did ask my son how’s the teacher there and he mentioned that both are very caring and teach with their heart especially Teacher Jack. All the staff there are also very helpful and caring. Now, my son got a good grade A and B for his O”level results. I’m very happy and thankful that I’m able to find out Happy Tutors and joined. Thank you Happy Tutors for helping my son and appreciate all the hard work. Oh yeah, also thanks for my son hard work effort too 😊🙏🏻"

"My younger child is at Agrader for p2 English and maths. The reason why I like about Agrader because they build their foundation with their very structured worksheets and practices. Somehow my child enjoys the lesson n always look forward to e class because there is motivation where kids get tokens to exchange gifts. After every lesson, she will redeem her little snacks and she is just contented with e little reward for answering and paying attention in class. Agrader service is also very good. I wanted to sign up for the psle bootcamp for My elder girl but registeration was closed. However, Agrader registeration admin contacted me and said they can make special arrangements for me at yishun branch. Knowing I stay near boon lay, shortly within e day, they communicated with JP branch and accommodate for me to go JP branch for bootcamp class instead. Wow. I'm amazed by their service. My friend's kids improve from fail grade to AL3 within 1.5years. I believe e structure learning helps n I regret for not placing my elder girl here earlier. Highly recommended agrader."

"I have been with Ms Suszane from Primary 4 to Secondary 4. Since joining her tuition classes, my hatred for Mathematics in secondary school gradually turned into one of my favourite subjects. As a testament to her teaching, my grades improved from an E8 to frequent A1/A2s, and for O-Levels I achieved an A2 for E-Math and a B3 for A-Math. Her lessons are clear and easy to understand, and she always ensures that all students fully grasp the concepts before moving on. There is also a wide range of question difficulties, which helps weaker students improve without falling behind, while stronger questions challenge and reinforce the understanding of more advanced students. In addition, Tutor Suszane’s online website offers a rich pool of resources such as online test papers, topical quizzes, and lesson recordings, allowing students to recap and strengthen areas they are weak in. Her classes are also very transparent and flexible, offering both onsite and online lessons to cater to students who are unable to attend physical classes."

"Starting this class in sec 3, I didnt really know what to expect and I was somewhat nervous too entering this class as I was worried that it would be awkward and scary, but it turned out to not be the case in Mr Amirul's class. I really enjoyed his methods of teaching and the way he made everyone feel included and I really think if it wasnt for him, i wouldn't be this interested in chemistry as a subject. initially my understanding of chemistry was very poor and I didnt understand much about it, but he managed to make me enjoy learning chemistry so much to the point where now I can confidently say that it is my best subject that I take in secondary school. these 2 years as his student has been an amazing experience and he has been an amazing teacher to not just me but everyone else in the class. the specialized notes and the time and effort he puts in to prepare for each and every class has truly made my learning here very special and would highly recommend him as a teacher for newer students."

"My daughter joined ILLAC when she was in the middle of Primary 4. At first, I found the structure of the classes quite different from other enrichment centres, which left me a little unsure. However, over time, I began to understand and truly appreciate Mrs Wee’s teaching approach—and I now find it very effective. Mrs Wee is highly focused and clear in her objective: aiming for an AL1. She emphasizes practical strategies that help students perform and score well, rather than unnecessary extras. What I especially like is that, even in a group setting, she pays close attention to each child’s individual weaknesses. She actively targets these areas and consistently drills the students until they improve and get things right. Although she is firm, she has a great way of connecting with the children. My daughter genuinely enjoys her classes and looks forward to attending them, which says a lot about Mrs Wee’s ability to balance discipline with encouragement."

"A Disappointing Experience with Champs Tuition Centre Pte. Ltd. I'm extremely disappointed with the service from Champs Tuition Centre Pte. Ltd. I reached out to them via WhatsApp on 29 Mar to enquire about P5 Science Tuition, understanding that it was a Sunday and they were closed. However, the next day (30 Mar), I waited for a reply, but there was complete radio silence. I sent another WhatsApp message, followed by a call, but no one picked up. I even tried calling using my landline, and still, no response. It was only after I sent another WhatsApp message asking why there was no one responding that I finally got a reply asking who I was. What's shocking is that they hadn't even checked my earlier message about my enquiry! It's clear that they have no desire or responsibility to serve customers. It's a case of working just for the sake of working, without any passion or care for the students or parents they're supposed to be helping. This lack of responsibility and customer service is appalling. If they're not willing to respond to basic enquiries, how can parents trust them with their child's education? It's unacceptable. Rating: 1/5 stars Recommended for: Avoid Tips: - Look elsewhere for tuition services. There are plenty of centres that care about their students and parents. - Don't waste your time with Champs Tuition Centre Pte. Ltd. - they'll leave you hanging. This kind of behaviour reflects poorly on the centre's values and work ethic. It's clear they're not interested in providing quality service or building trust with parents. I'm sharing my experience so others can avoid this disappointment."
