"I would like to commend the tutor agency, especially the admin staff whom I liaised with. She was very helpful, responsive, and proactive in updating me throughout the tutor matching process. Her service was excellent and much appreciated. We were initially matched with a female tutor to teach Science for my son, who was preparing for his PSLE. At the beginning, we found her teaching effective and were pleased with her progress, so we asked if she could also take on Mathematics and English. She agreed and started teaching these subjects as well. However, as time went on, it seemed that she had taken on many more assignments, and her schedule became increasingly tight. There were occasions when she had to reschedule our lessons. While this was inconvenient, we were understanding and accommodated the changes. After teaching my son for only about two months, she informed us that she would no longer continue with the tuition. What made this particularly difficult was that the PSLE was only about three months away at that point. It was a critical period for my son, and finding a replacement tutor on short notice added unnecessary stress for our family. During our final conversation, she explained that she was contacting parents to discontinue students whom she felt could not meet her expectations, were unlikely to improve, or were not putting in sufficient effort. She also brought up an occasion when I had left my son at home with her during a lesson because I needed to visit my mother, who had been admitted to the hospital. While she had seemed fine with it at the time, she later commented that she was “not a babysitter.” In the same conversation, she made remarks about my son, saying that because he was very enthusiastic about sports, he was unlikely to achieve better academic results. These comments were deeply hurtful and upsetting. As a parent, I believe every child learns differently and deserves encouragement rather than being judged based on assumptions about their potential. Although she did not directly say she was dismissing my son, she repeatedly mentioned that she preferred to teach students whom she believed could achieve better results, as this would be beneficial for her portfolio. While I respect that tutors may have their own teaching preferences and expectations, I was disappointed by both the timing and the manner in which the tuition was terminated. I remain grateful to the agency for their professionalism and support throughout the process. However, my experience with this tutor was disappointing due to the lack of commitment during a crucial academic period and the insensitive comments that were made about my child."

"The teachers at Nanyang Sembawang Tuition Centre are incredibly kind, supportive, and friendly. They always make lessons enjoyable and are very patient whenever I have difficulty understanding a topic. Instead of rushing through, they take the time to explain everything clearly until I fully understand, which has really helped me improve and feel more confident in my studies. I also appreciate the welcoming environment at the centre. The teachers are approachable and encouraging, making every lesson comfortable and stress-free. On top of that, they even provide free snacks and water at the counter, which shows how thoughtful and caring they are towards their students. Overall, my experience there has been very positive and enjoyable."

"The tutor provides regular check-ins to keep parents informed about the child’s progress, and the staff sends reminders before each lesson. If a class is missed, they arrange the next available make-up session. Communication and scheduling have been clear and organized, and the center manager is responsive to feedback, creating a supportive environment."

"Very conducive learning environment for the kids. Clean, bright, spacious and with furnishings that spark kids' creativity. Meals are healthy, each child has his / her own locker and chair, and the teachers are dedicated, friendly and helpful. Most importantly, my kid thrives well, does well in her studies, makes a lot of friends there, and progresses well in values and character-building because MindSpace has dedicated lessons such as The Art of Learning and Champions Mindset. My kid is thriving so well there that she calls MindSpace her second home, so, WELL DONE to the Mindspace team!"

"The tutors are experienced and notes are clear and helpful. Not only did they manage to identity the weakness causes my child's poor grades in math and science, they even helped to build my child's confidence in these 2 subjects. His grades improved tremendously and we can see that he starts to enjoy the 2 subjected instead of dreading it previously. Definitely a recommendation to parents and students!"

"I was taught by Ms Audrey in Secondary School and she has always been so helpful and approachable! During my N Levels, I was able to better understand math so much because of her clear explanations and constant support. She always took the time to help whenever I had doubts, and I’m really grateful for her guidance."

"Student Centre no big problem, But the window from 466A constantly have objects fell from high level ! The Window which is littering is opposite Block 462.We all not sure which level or Unit , according to the students, they are dropping from Level 12 or 8. We are not send our kids every day, but we've already witnessed high res falling objects four times. These objects include a square box, a paper tube, and wet toilet paper (the most recent one was last night 2024/12/23). A teacher said, she once had hit her foot by glass fragments that fell from above. The Learning centre allow kid to jump to higher level. which is nice. But for parents, kid safety is more concern. Please take measures to protect the kids! Thank you."
