I am writing this to warn the community about my current experience with ZenMarket. I purchased two used items from Mercari: a vintage pen ($58) and a pearl necklace ($27). ZenMarket allowed the purchase and took their fees, but now they are blocking all affordable shipping methods (Small Packet, Air Mail). They are forcing me to use DHL, which is more expensive than the items. Most importantly: They refused to ship via standard mail at my own risk. They refused to ship to a domestic Japanese address. It feels like my property is being held hostage. I have many screenshots of my correspondence with their suppor but they just repeat internal rules.
First time using a proxy service, and everything went well customer service answered the following day with in 24 hours and after my items shipped I had them with in a few days . Was very fast I couldn't believe it. You can see when they bought your items , then when they arrive at there wear house. Everything is very transparent which is great so your not worrying about whats going on.
Typical scammers - after you add any money to the balance, they will just steal them for bunch of absurd reasons. For example - they made a mistake in my shipping detailes by themseves, but charged ME for 2000 yen to fix THEIR mistakes. After that all support employees just dissappeared, and all my messages are ignored for days by now. Not sure if my purchases even exists lol Good luck scammers
Avoid like the plague! I scheduled a package through their system and everything was correct. Then their employee packed it and confirmed the shipping cost. I paid for the shipping. Now zen is trying to extort some money because they claim I have to choose a more expensive shipping option. Or pay them to pack less stuff! This is outrageous! The package was verified by them several times and was paid for! Scammers and swindlers!
Used their service a couple of times. No gimmicks. You just: 1.) Pay the item proce, service fee and domestic shipping of the items you want to order. 2.) Wait for the item to arrive their warehouse. You may consolidate your orders for free (up to 45 days) if want to save from your shipping. 3.) Choose the courier to use for international shipping and pay for it. 4.) Wait for it to arrive at your doorstep. What's good is that sometimes they have promos like free service fee or 50% service fee so I utilize it when there is one.😉 Overall, I'm happy with their service. I've tried others but I find their service more efficient and less confusing. I am from the Philippines BTW, and it usually takes 3-5 days for my items to arrive on their warehouse and just within 24 hours for it to arrive from their warehouse to my doorstep (via DHL).
