Yu Cun is one of my go-to places whenever I’m craving chicken wings and fish head curry. The fried chicken wings are consistently one of the best around ! crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and somehow always hitting the spot no matter how many times I come back. Their signature claypot fish head curry is another must-order. The curry is rich, fragrant, and incredibly satisfying with a bowl of rice. Every visit feels like comfort food done right. What I appreciate most is the consistency. The food quality has remained reliable over the years, which is probably why the place is almost always packed. Despite the crowds, I’ve rarely had trouble finding a table as the turnover is surprisingly fast and the staff keep things moving efficiently. If you’re looking for a no-frills, dependable spot that delivers every time, Yu Cun is one of those places that never disappoints. Definitely a “hit the spot” kind of restaurant that keeps me coming back. 🍛🍗👍

Their curry fish head is superb! They don’t take reservations, but we were lucky to be given a VIP room for our group of six. It was a full house on a Saturday dinner, and almost every table was ordering their curry fish head. Dishes were served quite fast and arrived together, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Always wanted to try but usually there is a crowd. Went early on Friday evening and manage to get seats. Curry fish head was good but fish meat portion could be better ( Fish head was halve) . Price have increase to $42 for the fish. Tried the lemongrass pork and it was crispy and tasty. Overall cost $80 + for 2 for 2 dishes, rice and drink . A little pricey for the quantity. Parking can be challenging as there are limited carparks.

Curry fish head, cabbage, tofu and the pork belly. The first 3 dishes were great, 5/5. Did not enjoy the preserved vege pork belly. Overall, worth a visit. There were many ingredients in the curry fish head: vege and a good amount of fish. Not too much of a coconut taste which is typical of these Chinese curry restaurants. The cabbage had a nice wok hey to it, too.

Had lunch here today, 1st time trying out this place. Ordered their signature curry Fishead and swapped the head with the tail as the tail has more meat. The curry is not too bad, but certainly not on the top 3 list for me when compared to some others I have tried, somehow it seem like it is missing something (just can’t pinpoint). The rest of the dishes were so so too. Conclusion $100+ for 3 pax is a little pricey, would have given them a 4-star rating if it wasn’t so pricey. Would be a long while before I return again.
