Xi Men Jie 西门街 (West Gate) Wholesome Taiwanese Meals

Just had an amazing meal! 🍽️ The food was absolutely delicious, with flavors that just popped in my mouth. The service was top-notch too; they were so friendly and attentive. I felt really well taken care of throughout the whole experience. And the drink I had? Pure perfection, it complemented everything perfectly. Definitely recommend checking this place out for a fantastic dining experience! ✨

Dropped by Xi Men Jie and was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of Taiwanese dishes on offer — from braised pork rice and mee sua to fried rice and cutlet-style mains. It’s a nice spot if you’re craving Taiwanese comfort food with lots of choices, and prices are quite reasonable for a mall setting The food itself is decent and satisfying, though I did find that the portions are on the smaller side, so bigger eaters might want to add a side or order an extra dish. The ambience is bright and casual, making it suitable for a quick meal rather than a long sit-down

Tried out Xi Men Jie at West Gate and was pleasantly surprised by how comforting and satisfying the food was. The food leans towards authentic Taiwanese street-style comfort food, with bold flavours and satisfying textures. Portions are decent for sharing, and it’s a good spot for casual dining.

First time dine this restaurant. Surprisingly dood ordered are yummy. Alike in taipei eating it. The texture of the fried sweet potatoes is great, soft yet crispy n sweet

The texture of the meesua is well-balanced and very flavourful without being overpowering. The Seasonal Hakka YTF is very authentic and we can taste the salted fish in it. Previously packed food from here before and they’re very meticulous with their packaging. Appreciate that the staffs are helpful and welcoming without being overwhelming.
