I had such a lovely dining experience at White Bird Scramble. This 7-course French omakase is incredibly good value, especially considering the quality, creativity, and execution of each dish. What I really enjoyed is how every course has its own name, which made the meal feel like a thoughtful journey rather than just a sequence of dishes. We were welcomed with a complimentary milk curd tempura that was light, crispy, and gently sweet, such a nice way to start. Standout courses for me included the giant scallop with cauliflower and bacon, which tasted clean and naturally sweet, and the red prawn tempura, a beautiful Vietnamese–Japanese fusion with delicate flavours and a memorable crispy rice-paper element. The zucchini “pasta” with poached egg and black truffle was playful yet well balanced, and the Nordic black halibut was cooked perfectly, paired with a rich but smooth beurre blanc. Desserts were equally impressive. The savoury-leaning frozen dessert with nori and tomato was unexpectedly refreshing, and the final chocolate brownie with miso crème toffee was rich without being overwhelming, a very satisfying finish. Service was attentive and friendly, and I appreciated that the menu changes every few months, which gives me a good reason to return. For anyone looking for a refined yet approachable omakase experience in the CBD, this is definitely a place worth bookmarking.

The presentation was artful, matched only by the delectable flavors on the plate. Each dish showcased a thoughtful balance of taste and texture, with every component working in harmony. Opting for both mains for an additional $15 was a wise move — the portions were perfectly calibrated to leave us fully satisfied. To finish, the desserts were elegantly crafted and truly delightful. The wine selection was small, but good.

i dined in Nov 25 and life got busy, but the food was so good, I had to come back to rave about it. The French-Japanese twist is very nicely done it’s not gimmicky at all. Enjoyed every bite. As its omakase and only one chef, don’t dine here if you are in a hurry to eat and go. You might stress yourself out. As the menu gets updated regularly, just enjoy the food porn and come yourself to give it a taste. You won’t regret it.

Excellently curated omakase menu featuring inventive, delicious dishes. And at a very attractive price point. The seasoning and sauces were done perfectly, never overpowering, just enough to elevate the flavours of the key ingredients. Will definitely be back to try their new menu. 4 stars for atmosphere/environment because we came on a Sat pm and the central air-conditioning was toned down ( it is an office building afterall).

Had a really enjoyable lunch at White Bird Scramble for their 7-course French omakase, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The staff were warm and attentive, taking the time to introduce every dish in detail, especially explaining the sauces that accompanied each course, which really elevated the overall appreciation of the food. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary appetizer as well as a birthday dessert for my wife which is a very nice and personal touch. At $70++ per pax, the omakase is definitely worth it. You get to try unique combinations you might not usually order. One standout was the Hokkaido milk ice cream paired with nori, tomato sauce, and basil crunch that is a surprisingly well-balanced mix of sweet, salty, and tangy flavours. Overall, a satisfying and memorable experience. Looking forward to coming back when they refresh their menu in May (they change it every 4 months).
