Even though I knew that this place only sold Japanese books, I came anyway as a friend of mine visited this store in another city in Japan and even bought a couple of records so I immediately went to the records section upstairs. I didn’t find anything at the records section but next to it, was a very small selections of used cds and I ended up purchasing two Taylor Swift cds for ¥770 each and they were albums that I personally love. So, the trip here wasn’t wasted at all :)

It's just a bit far without a car, but spent some time in the afternoon browsing local pop-ups, books and souvenirs.

This is a very large bookstore with a spacious layout and a wide variety of beautifully designed items. It’s a pleasure to walk around and explore. What really stands out is the children’s play area, which makes it an excellent place for families to let kids burn off some energy while parents enjoy their time. Highly recommended.

An amazing assortment of stationery. This is the place for you if you love crafts and pens. This is touted as the biggest Tsutaya in Japan and I believe it. The ambience is cosy and welcoming and there are countless nooks for lounging and reading. The music listening stations are also great for sampling music the staff have curated. The restaurant Fusu serves some interesting fusion cuisine. Portion sizes are a little on the small side especially for the western palate. I loved the experience.
