TSA THE SCIENCE ACADEMY (Toa Payoh)

Mr Yu is an excellent Chemistry tutor who makes learning both enjoyable and effective. His lessons are engaging and go beyond regular tuition, as he takes time to help us with school questions we struggled with. He explains concepts in a way that is easy to understand and ensures we truly grasp the underlying ideas. His encouragement and guidance have really strengthened my foundation in Chemistry and boosted my performance in class. Mr Teng’s Physics lessons are always engaging and insightful. He goes beyond standard tuition by not only teaching the syllabus thoroughly but also helping us tackle questions we didn’t understand in school. His explanations are clear and detailed, making even the toughest topics easier to grasp. Thanks to his patience and dedication, I’ve gained more confidence in Physics and developed a stronger interest in the subject.

I have been with TSA for 2 years and Mr Teo is a dedicated teacher who explains concepts to students well. Lessons are interesting as he shares his experiences and he provides feedback, both academic and non-academic, to help us with our future as we grow older. I am now more confident when doing Physics questions, highly recommended.

Been in TSA for 6 years since primary school. Mr Fong guided me through my PLSE science and math. I enjoyed his charismatic demeanour and meaningful lectures. His stern and strict approach towards his students drilled me into a more disciplined individual. In secondary school, I took classes from Mr Yu. He made class interesting with his humorous antics and drawings. Other than the content in the syllabus, Mr Yu shares interesting FYI about chem and bio. This fuelled my interest in the subjects even to the extent of researching things about bio in my free time. My chemistry and bio managed to maintain at the A1-b3 level in sec 3.

Mr Yu has helped me have a deeper understanding of various chemistry and biology concepts. his enthusiasm and jokes keeps classes engaging and interesting,helping me to stay focused. Even though i haven’t been with the centre for long, i have really enjoyed the lessons that i’ve had here and i can see some progress in my sciences!

I really enjoy my TSA lessons. They're always so enriching and enjoyable at the same time. My teachers, Mr Yu, Mr Teng, Mr Teo are really friendly and tells jokes that cracks me up. They also often encourage me to ask questions and seek help whenever I need. When I first joined TSA in Primary 6, I was barely passing my mathematics. TSA helped me to obtain A2 for my prelim examination. TSA lessons have laid a strong foundation for my sciences and maths, which contributed to my results in school examinations.
