Finally, a place that actually serves fresh food! You can really taste the difference—definitely not that pre-packaged frozen stuff. It’s like a proper home-cooked meal, simple but so comforting. The British classics are legit, the owner is super nice, and the beer is great too. Left feeling very happy. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
I’m usually disappointed with a roast dinner out but really enjoyed this! Staff were all excellent including manager who was super friendly. We both enjoyed the pork roast with good crackling included. Good beer, nice wine, decent price, and a very good time! Will be back. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a pic before I started eating!
Good place for a Sunday Roast lunch. The food was so hearty and came with unlimited Yorkshire pudding and gravy. The service team was very friendly and checked on us often. The roast was cooked very well and was soft. Really had a good lunch here!
A five star experience! Really good quality food at a good price. A steak & guiness pie, fish & chips, a baked potato (large, with two toppings and paid for an extra) and two drinks cost about $80. The steak & guiness pie ($25) was an absolute star! Full flavored, savory taste with tender and moist beef pieces. It was served with puff pastry on top where you could dip it like a slice of bread. Loved it! We ordered the baked potato with BBQ beans, cheese and bacon. Potato was soft and fluffy and the toppings were very tasty. The fish and chips was good as well. At $25, Well cooked halibut with a light breading (which I prefer), with good fries with good bite - some crispness but soft on the inside. The ambience is also nice. Good music, comfy low light atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit!
A very nice pub experience with Sunday Roast. Didn't manage to get the roast beef but tried both pork and haggis. The pork was ok with the rind still crispy, but rind was extremely salty. Loved the peas, mash, brown sauce, carrots and more potatoes. Yorkshire pudding was a bit stale. Portion was huge for Singapore standards. All kinds of pub drinks available. Really a chill place to hangout with large screen TV showing sports. Do book early so that you can get the beef Sunday Roast:
