Good teaching and clean environment. The teachers are all kind and patient including the replacement teachers. A bit pricey but worth it for the professional teaching(Rochester Mall)
The teachers there were very caring, especially Ms Ho Qihui who really makes my tuition life so fulfilling in TLL and I look forward to every math lesson. The students there are decent people. The materials are of tip top quality. The centers are very conducive for the students They use canvas which is super useful and user friendly.
I would like to take this chance to say a big thank you to Mrs Ho who taught my son since P4 and also for staying with him until his PSLE. Under her guidance and tutelage, he has shown great improvements in his Math results. He scored AL1 for Math. Mrs Ho will make the effort to stay back with him after lesson to run through his revision papers. She will patiently help to answer his queries and making sure he understands and also not make the same mistakes again. We are appreciative of the parent-teacher partnership we have with Mrs Ho. This is because I will also email her whatever questions I have if we are not able to help him with the papers at home and she will answer them so ever promptly. My son said Mrs Ho is caring and awesome and we are really thankful for her support during his time with TLL. We couldn’t ask for a better teacher. Thank you, Mrs Ho!
I feel that The learning lab is just like any other tuition centre. Over rated for sure. Does it really suppassed in its teaching? It is still questionable? I think it is also a matter of luck. Purely depends on the teacher. I have not met any of the teacher be it my son's main teacher or his replacement teacher in rochester mall in person. All I can say is that this centre is not personable at all. Don't get me wrong. The staffs are pleasant but just superficially. Definitely not that kind that goes above and beyond like its tuition charges. Another thing is that I'm "impressed"⁰⁰ with the hotline that leads to a general line and not directly to the tuition branch. I thought only the banks or telco have such hotlines. Just to provide an update that we'll be late for class. We had to dial the hotline and choose the options. Oh ya..then hear the standard reminder that "Your call will be recorded before holding the line for your general line receptionist. What a deterrent and honestly inefficient!
Best TLL centre in Singapore. No doubt. Classrooms have glass walls which give a sense of space and openness. Things are quite new and as such, not all scrunched up. Met some great people there. Ms Shana was outstanding, and so were most of my classmates. This environment helped me get AL1 in EL for PSLE. Only downside is cost. TLL is one of, if not, the most expensive tuition classes in Singapore. Well, I have never really seen any tuition centre furnished quite as well so I'd say its worth it. In conclusion, TLL mostly has a great environment wherever you go but the physical environment of the centre at Rochester makes it a much nicer place to be. There is also a Starbucks nearby where a bunch of us always get drinks from. I would definitely recommend this centre.
