Takagi Ramen @ Hougang Rivercourt

I visited this outlet for the first time and was glad I chose it over the more crowded Anchorvale branch. Coming from Punggol, I was happy to find a cozy spot for lunch with family. The place is small but charming, and the prices are affordable. Staff auntie Peggy was particularly friendly, embodying the kind of warm welcome that F&B establishments should strive for. However, there was a moment when she asked about the pronunciation of Christmas in Japanese, and while I politely responded, I felt she overstepped by expecting me to look it up and share it with her. I was in the middle of a conversation with my family, and it felt a bit intrusive. (just a feedback, not complain, she’s still awesome 😅) Nonetheless, it was a minor moment in an otherwise enjoyable experience. Overall, I had a good time and would recommend this place.

Despite busy with lots of orders on Sunday and require 30mins. wait, my husband who is 1st timer asking for advice which is their best meal, the chef, Mr Wang assisted us with both warm smile and great services! My husband loved his recommended Chashu-men and requested for the Free noodle refill which was refilled by Mr Wang, greeted us with a wide-smile! LOvely place and warm Chef! Great place and service! Cheers 💪💗

Came in at 2pm. 1st time here. Nice and cosy spot. 6 tables occupied at that time. 3 waiting in line for their food. Waiting time should be fast we thought... 2 staff working. Got ours around 2.20pm. Food is not bad. Not exactly the best presentation but taste still ok. My noodles a bit clumpy, unfortunately. Overall experience.. satisfactory. General cleanliness of place needs to be improved, seriously. Tray return fully stacked and uncleared. Customers had to leave their own trays on the tables. Pity... Will return... If there's improvement..

Visited Takagi Ramen for lunch with my friend for lunch today. The space inside is quite small and seating is limited, but everything is clean, neat, and well-maintained. Ordering is done through a self-service kiosk, and food pickup& returns are self-service as well. The ramen was flavorful and enjoyable, with a rich and tasty broth. Portion sizes were reasonable, and the prices felt fair for what you get. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

First time here, very cozy and clean environment, and one particular staff, auntie Peggy had outstanding service, making you really feel at home. Food is good and reasonably priced too. Will definitely return!
