STUDIO Shinjuku

I often use online question services. Even if you live a little far away from school, there's always a trainer on-site from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, which is very helpful. However, the level of the trainers varies. I once asked the trainer to teach me how to use Adobe software to create a sample. I looked up various options online, but couldn't find a solution, so I asked the trainer online. Instead of using the software myself, the trainer simply shared a webpage from an online aggregator that came up after searching for "Adobe photo editing to make it look like XX." (The same site I had looked up before asking the question.) Honestly, anyone can look something up online, and I was surprised at how much of a pass-on the trainer was telling me to "check out this on an aggregator site and try it out," even though I'd done my research before asking the question. I'd asked this trainer a question about something different before, but they didn't show me how to do it on their own screen; instead, they just shared a page they found online and that was the end of it. Even when I said things like, "I just looked at this site, but I still don't understand..." and "I'd like to know how to use it," they never demonstrated it to me and just shared the site with me. In the end, I couldn't operate it properly that day, and when I asked a question, they said, "I haven't used this Adobe app recently, so I don't know. I'd like you to ask another trainer." (It's Illustrator and Photoshop, so if you're a designer, you'd probably use them regularly...) As there were two trainers there that day, I went to ask the other trainer. That trainer taught me how to get as close as possible using the software, and I learned a lot. I believe the trainers are selected based on LIG's standards, but their service was by no means what you'd call a trainer, so I decided to write a review.

I was happy with the size. I was also happy with the cleanliness. I was happy with the power of the Windows machines. There were cameras available to borrow. I also liked the fact that I could enter the building directly from the station. I think DaVinci keyboard shortcuts can be used on other PSs once they're saved on one PC... (I'm a little fuzzy on this)

I enrolled in the CG class for a year and used the Tokyo, Shinjuku, and Kichijoji campuses, and all of them were clean and comfortable environments for working. I usually use the Shinjuku campus, and the teachers and administrative staff are always kind and helpful, so I feel at ease attending. Also, because the campus is open from around 11am until late at night, it is a school I would recommend to anyone who wants to study and work intensively for a year or for a short period of time. Depending on the course, I think it's also very appealing that you can learn at your own pace, consulting with teachers about only the parts you don't understand.

I took the Web Designer course for six months. Since I was working at the time, I used the online course during the week and received a lot of in-person instruction from the trainer in Shinjuku on weekends. Also, when I felt stumped at home, going to the school helped me refresh myself and concentrate in an environment that made my studies go really well. In particular, the school is open until 10pm on weekdays (depending on the day), so it was convenient to be able to go after work. Employment and career change support is also available after completion, which is reassuring.

I took the graphic design course. I worked on practical assignments that I could put into practice, creating things like brand logos, business cards, and posters. Thanks to the generous support of the experienced instructor, I was able to learn professional techniques! On the one thing I didn't like, was that the video courses on how to use online software were a little difficult to use (and they were too detailed, making it inefficient), but the content was very comprehensive and I was able to learn from the instructor while creating creative assignments when he was there, so I'm glad I took the course.
