Soup Restaurant 三盅两件 (Hougang Mall)

14Feb2026 We pre-ordered the set. We paid a deposit to reserve the CNY reunion dinner. We were surprised that they did not know about the pre-order. As we waited for the food, other guests seemed to get their food first. But after that, the food came pretty fast. The portion was big or maybe we were small eaters so we got to tabao some home. The food is okay except for some. The steamed chicken with ginger was the best😀

This is my second time eating food from this brand. The awesome one is their signature Samsui Chicken. Its normal steam white chicken, but the taste of it when wrap w the lettuce is terrific. The steam fish is also very fresh. The way they steam it, u can still see the layer of fats (omega) on the fish. Solid. The cereal prawns is also good, fresh prawns and fresh cereal.

Food was delicious. Good that there are individual dish sets like sweet sour pork rice that can cater to different needs of different people who want to eat different things. Bell was also attentive and helpful in refilling the tea.

The chicken and the tofu was the highlight of the mail. The place is not the most spacious but still doable. We came during the dinner period hence there was a short wait time of ~10 mins. Overall, the food here is rather above average so would reccomend to come and try at least once.

Food is above average but not out of the world. A good default for us. There is a current promotion and it comes with various menu to choose from. We had the signature chicken, soup of the day, vegetable, sweet and sour pork, olive fried rice and herbal jelly as dessert. The staff are friendly and not intrusive. The place was not crowded on a Wednesday night. We enjoy eating in a quieter environment. 💖
