There are a huge number of home builders out there, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages, making them more suitable for certain clients than others. I believe this design firm is one of the few that spares no effort in order to realize a sustainable society and is able to provide appropriate proposals to its clients. I myself am a client whose home was delivered to me in 2025. The construction work on my home (including my store) was a skeleton renovation of a reinforced concrete building, so a typical home builder would not have taken on the job. However, I was fortunate to come across this design firm, who were able to renovate the building so that it would be livable for many years to come. The entire team, from the architect to the contractor, worked together with great enthusiasm, and we were able to create a wonderful home. I believe it was an irreplaceable, once-in-a-lifetime experience. It's not cheap (although it offers excellent value for money) and takes time from contract to completion, but I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to create a comfortable environment that suits their needs. We had a single-story house built. When we first started thinking about building a house, we gathered a lot of information on our own, and considered national "super construction companies" and major home builders. However, after actually speaking with a few of them, we got the impression that the people in charge (not all of them, of course) only had a limited knowledge of construction, and they didn't seem flexible enough to accommodate our specific requests... As a result, we didn't feel we could trust them with our house, and major companies naturally ruled it out as an option. And that's when we met Katsura. What first attracted us was their "local production, local consumption" philosophy, which makes generous use of natural materials and makes the most of local materials wherever possible. Their approach to homebuilding was very meticulous, and I could sense their firmly rooted beliefs. The representative is also very studious, and is still not satisfied with the status quo, so much so that he has traveled abroad to study architecture. He's passionate, like an "architecture geek" in a good way, and knowing that we were going to have our house built by someone like that was a great source of comfort. Above all, the staff were incredibly polite and friendly, and our children enjoyed every meeting. One day, the craftsmen even helped our children catch bugs on site. It was these small interactions that really touched my heart, showing their warmth and generosity, and I truly felt grateful to have these people building our house. The craftsmen's skills are extremely high, and they work meticulously down to the smallest details. They never cut corners, even on the invisible parts, and it was clear to see that the entire team was working in unison. Their teamwork was excellent, and the atmosphere on site was comfortable throughout. We are also very satisfied with the building's performance. Thanks to its airtightness and excellent insulation, we were able to live comfortably without air conditioning for many years. Now, a single air conditioner is enough to keep the entire house comfortable. Electricity bills have also been kept significantly lower, giving us peace of mind in terms of running costs. In addition, we carefully perform structural calculations for each building to ensure its earthquake resistance, ensuring that all buildings meet seismic resistance grade 3 standards, which is one of the major reasons why our family can live here with peace of mind. Their attitude of paying careful attention to the invisible details is truly trustworthy. As a small company, it sometimes takes time for meetings and construction to begin, but I was truly grateful that they proceeded carefully with each step and listened carefully to our wishes and made them a reality. It's by no means a cheap house, but I can confidently say that we were able to build a home with no regrets. My only minor regret is that I should have installed hot water in the outdoor sink, but other than that, I'm really satisfied. And even now, six months after we started living in our home, my husband and I both find ourselves spontaneously saying, "What a nice house..." We feel such an attachment to it that we both find ourselves saying, "What a nice house..." I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to build a home with people who understand their vision and take it seriously, and who wants to be particular about both performance and design! They're a company that's constantly evolving, so we're very happy with our home, but I also envy those who will be able to build with them in the future.

We had our house built here. We visited many home builders before deciding to hire this architect. Up until then, my husband and I had often disagreed, but for the first time, we agreed that we wanted this company to do the work. The architect was very determined, and he firmly supported our opinions on areas where he wouldn't compromise. However, once we actually lived in the house, we realized that his attention to detail had improved our quality of life. In our home, every room maintains a similar temperature and humidity, so we can be comfortable even in winter without blankets. I use the same comforter all year round, and my children wear their underwear from bath time to bedtime, regardless of the season. Our home is always comfortable, and we feel at ease inside. Although meetings and replies sometimes took a little time, they were ultimately thorough and courteous. As a result, many of our wishes were incorporated into the completed home, which exceeded our expectations, and we are very happy with it. Thanks to the time they took to discuss and progress the construction, we have not regretted a single thing after living here for two years. At first, I was worried about whether it was really worth spending so much money and whether it would prevent me from traveling, but it's so comfortable to live here that now I no longer have any desire to stay in expensive hotels or inns, and it actually feels like my travel expenses have decreased. I've realised the importance of having a well-equipped home where I spend my days, and I'm really happy with it.

It's been about a year since the handover, and we've been able to live comfortably in every season. We commissioned you to renovate our parents' house, and the insulation effect is especially amazing compared to before the construction; we're impressed every day. What we felt throughout the house-building process was the strong bond of trust between the architect and the craftsmen. Everyone's teamwork is wonderful. Also, each person's attitude towards their work is very reassuring from the homeowner's perspective, and as a fellow professional, it makes us feel more responsible.
