Sanook Kitchen (Heartland Mall Kovan)

Just had lunch at Sanook in Kovan. The food is okay, service is fine — nothing extraordinary but no issues. What stood out was how thoughtful the staff were with our toddler. They noticed we had a young child, so they automatically prepared a baby chair and kids' cutlery without us asking. They also made sure to serve the hot dishes away from where our kid was sitting. Really appreciated that sensitivity. Ordering is via QR code, payment at the counter. Overall a good family-friendly option if you're in the area.

Visited this Thai restaurant today and had a really lovely experience. We ordered the Daily Set for 2, and it was absolutely worth the price. Our child’s meal was delayed while the adult dishes arrived first, and the waitress noticed immediately. She came over on her own initiative to talk to my child, and gently asked him to wait patiently while assuring him his food was coming. Such a small gesture, but it made a big difference and showed real care and professionalism.

Absolutely delicious Thai food! The broth was flavourful, the ingredients were fresh, and the drink was refreshing. The staff were very friendly, attentive and welcoming from the moment I stepped in. Excellent service and clean environment. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Thai flavours and a pleasant dining experience be it alone or with your family and friends!

Excellent service by the supervisor & the food was prepared timely as a set. Not a regular at this establishment but definitely in for the thai food they served. Keep it up Sanook Kitchen Kovan!

I had a fantastic dining experience at Sanook Kitchen (Heartland Mall)! It is such a gem for Halal Thai food in the Kovan area. Every dish we ordered tasted great and hit those authentic Thai flavor profiles perfectly. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly attentive and polite throughout our meal. I especially loved how they laid out the food items in such an orderly and thoughtful manner on the table—it made the whole experience feel premium and organized. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a delicious, fuss-free meal!
