Fabulous canton cuisine served in claypot style. Everything we tried was superb and tasty. Special mention to the sesame chicken, tomato chicken and sabo tofu. If you order Chinese tea, it is refillable. Sits about 30 tables here. Located at B1 of the main food court thus it could get noisy due to enclosed space. Service was attentive and fast. Highly recommended.
Had a dinner at the restaurant today with my family. Tasted not bad for the price and value for money. Staffs were very friendly and attentive too! Which is a huge plus as you don’t see these kind of service staff really enjoying their work in many places anymore.
Riverside Canton Claypot Cuisine 江边广东砂锅菜 at Northpoint City has quickly become our go-to lunch spot. The menu offers a wide variety of claypot dishes, making it a great choice for diners of all ages. The claypot rice was especially well executed—perfectly cooked grains paired with fresh proteins, and lifted by the aroma of lup cheong and mushrooms. A little more salted fish would have made it absolutely perfect. The curry claypot was another standout. The gravy had just the right consistency, with a generous portion of chicken and potatoes. The chicken tasted fresh, not like the usual frozen kind. Don’t be intimidated by the portion size—it’s actually just right for one. Best to head down early, as it gets crowded during lunch. Highly recommended.
Ordered the sauerkraut grilled fish, and it was super amazing. The fish was very fresh and tender, soaking up the sour and savoury flavours of the broth perfectly. Pairing it with the fragrant rice made the dish even better — simple but incredibly satisfying. One great thing about this dish is that you can also add many other sides to cook together with the fish, which makes the whole meal more enjoyable and customizable. For drinks, we had the soda drink and sour plum drink, and both were very refreshing and paired well with the rich flavours of the grilled fish. The atmosphere was great overall, although it felt a little hot inside the restaurant. Overall: 4.7/5. ⭐
Just passed by this place and decided to try it! The dishes we ordered are: - Glutinous Rice Cake with Brown Sugar: this is really good! Very chewy & Sweet - Sichuan Dried Chilli Fried Chicken: it was okay only but (no nuts), so if you prefer 辣子鸡 with peanuts then maybe you can try request. - Stir-fried Kai Lan with Garlic: this is normal dish but surprisingly good! - Pork Ribs with Taro: Not my favourite but was normal also - Stir-fried Prawn with Minced Garlic & Glass Noodles l: This is yummy! I like this, very savoury & addictive 😛
