I came on 6 May night on a safra super mum dining voucher promotion. No one was at the door to receive you. You would have to go in and then get the attention of the staff inside. The place was spacious, good for holding wedding or function. But on a normal night it was hot and stuffy with maybe a couple of air con on. Not many customers with only two other tables occupied. An indian staff received me and he understood about the voucher and how it worked with Safra members. I asked if I could take away and if there would be service charge. He said takeaway no service charge but there would be a surcharge for using this voucher as he said it was for dining in only. I found this strange as it was not stated in the terms and conditions. So I reluctantly agreed to dine in and did feedback that the place was hot. He referred me to a booth seat and assured me it would not be hot. Then he positioned a portable standing air con blower at me. But the wind that was blown was not cold. I ordered their seafood horfun and also a seafood vegetable soup. They didn't provide me with chopsticks even though I ordered Chinese and I have to call out for it. Both Chinese items tasted pretty good for a place that is halal. The horfun has two big prawns that stood out. The soup has three big prawns, a few fish slices, a couple of squid. The prawns were not deveined and I had to get messy with my hands to clear it. I was only given a small condiment of green chilli which ran out quite fast. No waiters were in immediate sight to get a service and I had to walk to cashier counter area to ask for green chilli. Overall the food was above average. Service wise was similar to a food court. The environment was the worst, being hot and stuffy. It was not worth the higher price and the service charge and GST to eat there as I perspired throughout as I ate.
Came here for CNY department lunch. Advised to make reservation at least 2 weeks in advance during peak CNY season. Food is great, a bit spicy for those that cannot tolerate spicy food, but it's a good balance for me. There is a small stage and PA system for those company that might want to organize some events
Great dining experience at this halal spot in SAFRA Jurong! The food was delicious across the board, and the staff provided good service. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
As all reviews have said, decent halal food. The restaurant is clean and spacious and good for big gatherings. We went on a weekday evening so the crowd was lesser. Ordered mainly seafood dishes so the total cost was on the higher side. Safra or Home Team members get 10% off!
Thank you for the strong support and great service for my sis's wedding ๐ฅฐ The food was delicious and there was more than enough to go around with seconds and thirds to spare. Really appreciate the extra help offered with packing the food.
