Putien waterway point is one of my staples for lunch, and the food standard has remained consistent. Service is excellent as well, with easily communicated preferences for less salt on dishes. The hotplate tofu was extremely tasty and goes perfectly with rice. Luffa is light but tasty again goes well with rice. Chicken soup tastes natural and full of chicken flavor. Broiled yellow croaker has the light spiciness of huajiao and seared garlic/shallots. Highly recommended.
Had lunch at PUTIEN Waterway Point with my mum on Saturday. The restaurant was very crowded, but we managed to get a table for two. We preferred not to order via QR code, and although there was a delay in getting the iPad, another staff member quickly assisted us. The manager later apologised for the oversight and offered a complimentary dessert. Great service recovery, and we enjoyed the food. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.
Came for the mee Sua , pepper salt small sized fishes which I like a lot. Also tried other cuisine like luffa and the chicken soup. Like the service here and the quiet environment. Enjoy the modern Chinese atmosphere, design and table set up here. The music is relaxing as well. Thanks Tong Ling, Ling Hua, Zhi Xuan ,Man Man!
Food overall was good, recommend the century egg with spinach and fried yam. The lychee pork was ok but not the best. We got ordered all 5 dishes in small but slightly too little for 3 pax.
Really enjoyed the food here—especially the deep-fried yellow croaker, which was super crispy, and the deep-fried duck with yam, a great combo. The Heng Hwa bee hoon is a must-order, very satisfying. Overall, the dishes were on point, though the service during dinner time could be a bit more attentive.
