Ed has been the most wonderful waiter for our table, giving my family heaps of information on local favourites. All the food were beautifully presented with extraordinarily mouth watering textures. As we are here on holiday from Australia, I would definitely highly recommend ‘Public Italian Kitchen’ as a place to dine in. Another perk about this restaurant is that it is located by the water! -Happy Dining- Graham
Beautiful spot right on the lake as we sat outside. Service by Teresa was wonderful. Food & drinks were excellent. Would definitely go back. Nice cruisey music too which added to it. Try & time it so the boats aren’t coming & going. We did & it was very peaceful & relaxing.
Had a solo trip to the Public Kitchen and Bar. The service was amazing, Ed was super friendly and really attentive, he did an amazing job. The first server made me feel great about travelling solo which was nice too. For the food, I got the half dozen oysters which were nice and fresh. The gnocchi was some of the best I’ve ever had. Finished with the tiramisu which was a good dessert. The service was super fast, all three came out within an hour. Can definitely recommend, this is a must visit place in Queenstown.
Probably the most delicious Italian meal we’ve had in a while! We started with the Crudo Market Fish and the Burrata Pesto and they were both really yummy. The main dishes were the ones to steal the show with no doubt! My partner had the Gnocchi Fresh Ricotta and OMG! They were so fluffy and delicate it would be had to forget about this one. I ordered the Spaghetti Frutti di Mare and it was so good as well! The fact that I didn’t have to take the mussels nor the clams out of the shells definitely elevated the experience and it allowed me to enjoy it even more! Thea was our server and she made us feel so homey and welcomed! She was super attentive and caring through out the night in a very genuine way. Super recommend this place. 10/10! Tysm.
Our server Ruri was AMAZING. Provided spot on recommendations for food and wine based on our dietary needs. The location is central to the town and on the lake - they even provided blankets for the chilly evenings! Service was quick and the veggie gnocchi was incredible. I’m still craving it days later. Highly recommend to anyone visiting queenstown!
