I had a wonderful experience today during my holiday with my family at Penguin Cove Cafe. The environment was pleasant, and we truly enjoyed our meal. I would like to specially thank 3 staffs, Mary, Hidayat, and Emy, who provided excellent service throughout our visit. They greeted us warmly with genuine smiles and clearly explained all the promotions in a friendly and professional manner. Even though it was a busy school holiday with a large crowd, they remained patient and treated every customer with the same level of care and positivity. Their dedication and attitude truly made our visit memorable. I am very happy with my experience today, and I sincerely appreciate their effort in making our trip to Penguin Cove Cafe so enjoyable.

Had lunch here on a school holiday weekend. It was easy to get seats. Although the prices are higher due to the attraction location, we got lucky with some penguins swim-bys. The lamian and herbal mee sua were average, but the amazing atmosphere and friendly service more than compensated. It's an experience, not just a meal!

We had Nonya Chicken curry and fish and chips (which featured white fish and not the Vietnamese soft Sutchi Pacific Dory fillet). The fish and chips were surprisingly well done. Not oily. Crispy, slightly chewy batter and nice white fish fillets. Ketchup, chilli sauce and tabasco were readily available! The Nonya curry chicken was thick and tasted good. Not runny. Very flavorful, even if the curry was done from food service packs. They even gave fresh blended chilli sauce too spicy for me but great for someone who loves this freshly made condiment. Server Uma gave good customer service. Chef Kian Fui was experienced and humble. We can’t wait to eat at that eatery again. It was clean. We had a great view of the penguins aquarium. ❤️

The service crew were so efficient and service oriented, she seated us so comfortably with nice view of the penguins swimming passed. I must comment that the fishball noodles is excellent. The taste is so flavourful which I’ve really missed for many years. It took me by surprise to find this long lost taste back again. Kudos to the entire cafe team for a job well done! Thank you very much and I’ll be back again.

It was a disappointing meal experience. We ordered the adults set meals but the portion that came was miserably small portions. We even wondered if it was child set meal that was wrongly served. To be fair, the aesthetics of the food was 5 stars but food portion and taste was 1-2 stars at most. Given the price, it’s not worth a meal there. The adult chicken curry rice is good for a kids meal size. Curry is pathetic shallow, not enough curry gravy for the rice portion and chicken to go around. In terms of service, not much service as it was self-service all the way. Pick up own food from counter, return tray after consumption. Suggestion: while the food look very nice & presentable, please look into quality & portion served. After all, so much effort had went into the food, so why scrimp on the portion and quality?
