OUMI Modern Japanese Kappo Restaurant

A huge shout-out to Ken and Wei for making our evening truly memorable. From the moment we stepped in, the service was warm, attentive, and absolutely top-notch. It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced such exceptional hospitality. The food was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Every dish was beautifully presented with incredible attention to detail—like an art piece on the plate. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the creativity behind each course left us impressed. If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines outstanding service with exquisite cuisine, this is the place to be. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back!

The food is absolutely stunningly delicious. Best tebasaki i have ever tasted, so tender and the taste was perfect! I also love the white bait tempura and the crab chawamushi. Came here for date night and would definitely go back again. Service was also great at first, but in the last 45 minutes staff were all busy cleaning so we poured our own drinks. Still would highly recommend!

My friend and I ordered the 9 course omakase dinner and enjoyed the dishes tremendously. We especially liked the somen with cod fish which was only available in the omakase set. The service staff were attentive and accommodating, and they offered to switch us to the window seat to enjoy the night view after we finished most of our meal at the counter. The chef also did a great job to explain the ingredients that were used in each of the dishes. The pacing of the meal was just right, and allowed us to enjoy the meal comfortably. They also paid a lot of attention to the plating of the dishes and we can see they take pride in their lovely creations. The ambience of the restaurant is also great for conversations and the night view is amazing. We will definitely be back to try out their lunch set.

Amazing experience here, opted for the a la carte menu rather than 6 course tasting, and every dish was excellent. On arrival you have the amazing view from the 51st floor, over towards the Marina Bay Sands hotel, which gets better as the sun sets. Friendly welcome, and great to be so open, with the kitchen at the heart of the dining, being able to see the food prepared so calmly my the chefs! The sashimi was very high quality, and like every other dish, prepared very well. This was fine dining executed perfectly, couldn't fault a thing, and the experience of the 51st floor made it even more memorable.

Had a wonderful meal at Oumi last night. Excellent service from Kesha & her team, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout our dinner. The food was excellent, every dish tasted so flavourful yet refined, with lovely presentation. My favourites were the somen in cod broth, pork jowl and wagyu beef. Loved the intimate and cosy space. Will be back again!
