He located the specific conduit in the basement to shut off the leak while ensuring the other three apartments in the building still had full access to water. He returned the next day to perform a thorough analysis. While we feared the worst, Mikey’s expertise saved us; he determined that the freezing weather had only cracked the cartridge. He replaced the part without needing to open walls or replace extensive piping. By the second evening, our shower was fully restored and safe. Communication before, during, and after was excellent—clear, responsive, and professional throughout. The crew and management were personable, meticulous, and took the time to diagnose the issue properly rather than rushing to a quick fix. The work was done efficiently and as neatly as possible given the scope. They opened walls and floor, repaired the problem, and put everything back together without any drama. Pricing felt reasonable for the complexity, and we had no reservations paying the bill. Could not have been a better experience. We would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them.

I’m so glad I called Mentor Mechanical. I had a toilet clog late at night, and I was genuinely impressed that Tom followed up with me the very next morning to see if the issue was resolved. Tom, the office manager, is incredibly understanding; he listened patiently to my concerns, gave me solid advice and a very fair price without being pushy at all. He really means it when he says he will take care of your plumbing issues. After we spoke, Mikey arrived in just 45 minutes. He was able to clear the clog and even identified that the spud and toilet pipe was rusting and on its last legs, so he made sure to get it properly replaced right then and there. Even though the job took longer than expected and ended up being more than unclogging the toilet, Tom did not upcharge me and honored the price we initially discussed. It’s clear this team takes pride in their work and values their customers. I’m thankful for the quick response and the peace of mind knowing the job was handled. I would definitely call them again.

I had a plumbing emergency -they sent someone within 30 minutes to check it out. The guys that showed up were very helpful. Although the parts were not available that day, their guy John returned and replaced 3 shampoo sink faucets and hoses expertly. He was very professional, polite and cleaned up afterwards. Thank you Mentor Mechanical, I will be calling the next time I need plumbing services :)
