Nanta BBQ

I had a really satisfying Korean BBQ meal at Nanta BBQ — the meat was juicy, and well marinated, and the banchan gave the whole table a good variety of flavours to mix things up. Their BBQ sets and dishes seem to sit in the mid-range for Singapore, with items like BBQ set meals around the low $20s and larger premium options going much higher, so it’s not the cheapest spot, but it does feel like a proper Korean feast. The refillable greens and kimchi and noodles side dishes were great and I refilled many times on my own. They almost stole the limelight for me. The atmosphere felt casual and comfortable for a relaxed meal with friends. I’d come back when I’m in the mood for hearty Korean food that’s filling, fun to share, and worth the splurge.

Had errands nearby and was craving for korean bbq. Chance upon this shop which looks authentic so decided to give it a try! Made a reservation online but we were early on a friday dinner so there wasnt many people yet. Food was quite authentic as the bosses are korean. The pork came pre-cooked which saved some time and made it easier for guests to cook the remaining on your own, though staff will still actively come and assist you when needed. Super love the freeflow side dish (i love 어묵!!!!). Kimchi pancake was good too. Overall portion was quite big and maybe a little too much for 2 pax. Definitely will be back to try their other set meal!!

First time dining at this restaurant. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Cosy atmosphere for a Korean BBQ dinner. Ordered ala Carte Wagyu A5 ribeye. For the quality and taste, definitely worth it. Meat just melts in your mouth. So delicious. Also ordered black pork collar that was rather lean but so flavourful. The seafood kimchi pancake was huge for 2 persons but the taste was so different from the usual. Nice crispy top layer and the nicely cooked through with generous fillings of seafood and kimchi. Unlike the usual where the middle of the pancake may be undercooked, this one was perfect. Banchan was fantastic and the best part, you get to help yourself at the banchan counter with top-ups. What a great dining experience not to be missed. Next trip will try the beef bone soup and short ribs BBQ. A little pricy, but you can expect only the best. The 3-4 pax set menu look great too. The food was SUPER good, especially their pork belly. Very thick and tender like the one i had in korea. their rose tettbokki was amazing and would definitely come back for it. the staffs here were really helpful and quick to help us, especially Saik in assisting our dinner table.

I frequent this restaurant a lot and have been a regular since 2017 or so but I am not stepping in here again. Before I made my order, I specifically asked if the jeyuk bokkem is pork collar or pork belly. they had previously changed to pork belly before and I accepted and tried it to be super fatty. So this time I asked them before ordering as the menu is showing pork collar. When the food arrived, it is so fatty and to me it's the same as before to be pork belly. I questioned the manager, the manager insisted that it is pork collar just that it is the fatty part. I have never eaten pork collar that is like bacon, maybe worse than bacon. I had older guests with me that cannot eat fatty meats due to cholesterol and health reasons. I definitely won't be coming back here again, very disappointing. This place standard and service level has gone down the drain. To save cost, they cheat and insist on their wrongdoing.
