I read good reviews about the roasted chicken that it is soft, tender and juicy, somewhat like Kenny Rogers. But it was real disappointment that mine came out dry and overcooked, definitely not juicy. Just the taste is good. The risotto is watery on the base, taste is ok. The waffle chicken is regular. The smoked chicken truffle carbonara is good. Overall the food is above average, but for that price, I expect it to be better. Ambience is good, in a nice HDB neighbourhood, soft music background, clean and new interior, and not too crowded on a PH when I patronized. Vegetarian options are indicated in menu.

Just found this place which I believe opened only in Jan 26 (Mistake - was informed end 24) Had the Truffle Carbonara, Cheese Baked Rice and Beef Bulgogi Don. Each item was about $14-$18 and though not cheap per se being in the neighbourhood, but items like the Cheese Baked Rice was done very well, much better than Swensens which has become too commercial. Thus, you get really burnt Cheese that had crisps by the side. The Truffle Carbonara had really nice bits of chicken, but we felt the sauce was too sour. Also had the latte and Butterscotch latte and the butterscotch coffee was really good. Guess its a coffee bar after all. Nice touch was the free flow of water, thus rest of my family who did not get any drinks could still have water alongside. Ambience wise, was really a nice cosy hang out in the neighbourhood. Went on a public holiday, so only two tables were having meals, half the place were customers using their laptops with only a drink in sight. Saw they had a sign discouraging study, thus quite certain it always has many customers hanging around with just once drink due to its cosiness. Service wise, think overall still alright, only thing was our stuff took awhile to come out, even though we were the only other table having our meal. But guess maybe that's why our Baked rice came out well done, maybe because of the time taken to do it up well. Was told reservations not taken for public holiday, but guess did not need any.

Hidden gem in Clementi. Set below a cosy HDB it's easy to miss this. This is my kind of place, very quiet , not too crowded, and a very friendly waiter/barista.. Ordered the breakfast set. Sunny side up was over cooked, the eggs didn't have a runny texture but other than that liked the remaining items. The mushrooms were great, sourdough, the right texture. What I really liked was their attitude and service. They got me an Oatcap and when I mentioned I wanted it later after the meal, the waiter proceeded to make a new coffee for me later. Appreciate the flexibility !! And he was kind to explain different menu options when I stepped in.. Will definitely come in again !
