We bought our ACs through Gain City and installed in November 2025. One of the units started to have this musty/dampened smell everytime we turn it on. GC has done a cleaning, and Mitsubishi technicians also came to clean and change the blower. They did joint-inspection in our home and since the smell persists, GC suggested Mitsubishi to exchange our unit 1-to-1 as it's not even a year after being installed. Technicians wrote in the receipt to do so. We thought we'd get our AC to be replaced, but alas... we received an email downplaying our issue that saying they won't do that and instead telling us how to do a proper maintenance. What gives?! First thing first. This is a brand new aircon that was supposed to work properly and it's not even a year! We always make sure it gets ventilated properly everytime. Secondly, it's only 1 out of 4 units we have that's having this issue, and it's in the living room. I'm totally disappointed with Mitsubishi and their after-sales services. We used to use Toshiba in our old home and NO such issues!
What do you mean new aircons unit got problem?? Haven't even use for a day?! It been almost two months and nothing resolved?? Extremely disappointing service!!! I purchased and installed new air conditioning units from your company at the end of April 2026. Haven't even use a few days then already got so much problems. Unfortunately, despite the considerable time that has passed, the issues related to the installation and/or units remain unresolved until now (JUNE 2026). What is most frustrating is the lack of urgency and willingness to help despite the long delay. As a customer, I expected better after-sales support, especially for a major purchase. Communication has been poor, and there has been little effort shown to properly address the outstanding issues. I would not have expected to wait this long for a resolution. The experience has been extremely disappointing and waste of my time as well.
Extremely disappointed with the installation. We had a System 2 air-conditioning unit installed, and one of the fan coil units was already not working from day one (When the installer was still at our place!). We are now waiting for the Mitsubishi team to come down and inspect the issue. This has caused us a great deal of inconvenience and frustration, especially since the new system was just installed. Lousy after care service. We were told by our installer that Mitsubishi Team will come down to check between 12.30pm-3.30pm. It's now 4pm. I called the service hotline and was told that because they missed call me twice using PRIVATE NUMBER. I didn't pick up so they went to another unit!! I can't be holding onto my phone 24/7 and after I saw the missed call, I've attempted to call back right away but I'm unable to do so as the number is private! Super bad experience from Mitsubishi! OMG.. I just saw there are so many bad experiences encountered by others!
I bought a Mitsubishi Starmax System 3 air conditioner from Gain City on 20 June, and it was installed on 27 June. The very next day, we discovered a defect: whenever the 2nd and 3rd units were turned on, the 1st unit have sounds vibrating by itself even though it was switched OFF. Gain City’s technician initially diagnosed it as a compressor issue, but I was passed between Gain City and Mitsubishi instead of getting a proper resolution. After a joint inspection, Mitsubishi claimed the compressor wasn’t the problem and suggested extending the piping to reduce the noise. I rejected this because it looked like a temporary workaround, and even the technician admitted he couldn’t guarantee it would work and he didn't see any case like that before. I insisted on replacing the compressor instead. After the compressor was replaced, the noise was significantly reduced, proving the earlier advice was inaccurate ! I honestly don’t understand why Mitsubishi has such a reputation for reliability. Based on my experience, product quality seems to depend on luck, and the troubleshooting process was disappointing. Mitsubishi you should remove "Quality" from all your ads. This will be my last Mitsubishi air conditioner.
Came here to fix my fan. The process was pretty smooth, only had to show the receipt from Lazada (I bought it from a non-official shop there). Had to wait a bit for the staff to attend to me. The repair was done within a day and came back to collect. Pretty straightforward. The service Center is at the mezzanine level. Have to take the lift from level 1 which is located at the side of the building.
