went in at around 6:30pm on a Friday night! the restaurant was full but there was little to no wait to get a seat. the kind server told us that the food may take up to 20 minutes but the food actually arrived quicker than that! her demeanor and friendliness was also very pleasant the place was clean too! i like their booth seats haha beef shank noodle in braised beef broth: 8/10, the shank is so tender and juicy, gave around 3 pieces which is a good amount. the soup was flavorful and savory and the noodles (la mian) had a good texture chilled silken tofu with century egg: 8/10, came with bonito flakes and a savory thick sauce, nice but only got half of the century egg lol taiwan soya bean milk: 8/10, despite the nutri grade level being C it does not taste sweet at all! but nice flavor, good over ice (bf’s order) braised beancurd in beef broth: its not my thing so im not gonna rate it but he says its nice (bf’s order) apple black tea: 10/10, good combination of apple and tea flavors! would get this next time over the soya bean
I keep coming back whenever my braised beef cravings hit. It’s getting noticeably more expensive though. A set meal now costs about the same as a Korean BBQ buffet, but at least this one actually fills you up properly.
Dropped by here for dinner. Waiting time for a seat was relatively fast, since I'm alone. Only cashless payments, and you would order from a website given by the QR code. My beef noodles arrived at about 10-15 minutes, with the appetiser (bamboo shoots) and drinks arriving faster, probably 2-3 minutes. It is relatively fast, given that the restaurant had maximum capacity. The food was simply delectable. Beef was soft, broth was superbly rich and aromatic, and the chewy, fresh 拉面 truly lives up to the name of authentic Taiwanese flavour. Drinks was good too, with a tangy and sweet flavour to it. The bamboo shoots were seasoned well, and hence the delicious taste. It is crunchy too. Overall, a scrumptious dinner. Would recommend to come here and have a fabulous meal, as you would be blown off by the authenticity of the meal. Really reminds me of Taiwanese food I have eaten in Taiwan.
06-May-2026 (Wed) No queue during lunch time. Been here numerous times over the years and the ramen is still as good as always! Though the portion do seems to have "shrinked" compare to before.
The place was hot because of the open air kitchen and the my food was drenched in oil (picture below) waiting times were terrible even though it wasn’t crowded and there were very clearly many chefs. Food quality has gone down and service was quite slow. Only thing that salvaged this was the waiter’s attempts to help with the situation. (I scooped out the oil into another bowl in the photos.)
