Small cosy comfortable restaurant. Located conveniently within walking 🚶🏻‍♀️ distance of Toa Payoh MRT Station 🚉. All items priced reasonably. Value for money. Many items on menu to choose from. Staff are friendly and helpful . Food tastes great. Will definitely come back again.

Very compact especially 16 tables full house during Sunday 5-8pm. Very spicy generally all dish especially tofu. Overall tasty. Expected long queue 30 minutes

Food: Excellent! Must order Pickled Vegetable Fish Soup and 五花肉串. Service : Servers are friendly. Atmosphere : Always full house and with queue. Lots of diners with their chatters, which is expected for this sort of dining. :) Additional : pay $1 for a bowl of white rice. Subsequent bowls are free.

Food is pretty good, i love their dishes, cant remember the name but is all the recommended dishes. The price is very very cheap and worthy. 9/10 Service is good, all the crew is respond fast, the food also came fresh and hot within 10 mins. 8.5/10 Atmosphere is pretty ok, no sign of squeeziness. 7/10 Such a good deal is a must to revisit.

Lunch at Lao Wei Dao Sha Guo Bao “老味道砂锅煲” at 12 noon. My very first visit here and the portion is rather big. For 2 person can simply order 2 dishes. I have ordered 2 dishes- Fish with Pickled Mustard Greens “砂锅酸菜鱼” and Mapo Tofu “麻婆豆腐煲” $6.80 as well. Plus points: Rice $1 is refillable and there is free flow of piping hot seaweed and egg flower soup，“紫菜蛋花汤“。 in addition, there is no service charge, only GST 9%.. The total bill is $20.27. Very reasonable. One food stall at my estate charges $8.00 for dried noodles The staff are helpful and friendly. Many are Chinese speaking. The food is more to salty and spicy. May request the chef to reduce the level. 重口味一些。 I feel numbness after consuming the Mapo Tofu. Thankful for the tasty soup and lime drink. Will definitely come back for their other dishes.
