Limited stock and slow voucher processing—tourists should skip. iPhone Stock: They do not sell contract-free (SIM-free) iPhone 17 models here. Sapporo branches are also out of stock. Product Selection: The cosmetics and daily necessities sections are very small and limited. Voucher Redemptions: Redeeming the ¥1,000 "Have Fun in Hokkaido Pass" voucher took a long time. The staff seemed unfamiliar with the digital coupon process. Traveler Advice: Tourists should not waste time at this location. You are much better off shopping at the larger branches in Sapporo for better stock and smoother service.
Terrible shopping experience on the 2nd floor. While the staff on the 3rd floor were helpful and proactively offered to test the products, the young male clerk wearing a mask on the 2nd floor was completely unhelpful, clueless, and lacked any professionalism. When my coupon code wouldn't scan, he literally snatched the phone out of my hand to scan it on the counter. When I asked about testing a product, he just aggressively repeated "pay..." and was incredibly rude. He couldn't speak a single word of English. I have traveled to Japan many times, and the worst clerk I have ever encountered is right here on the 2nd floor of Bic Camera Hakodate.
While driving from Noboribetsu to Hakodate, I passed by the Kojima x Bic Camera store and decided to visit the next day for some window shopping. As expected, the store was smaller than the expansive electronics malls I’ve visited in Tokyo, which is understandable given that Hakodate is a smaller city. I was specifically interested in browsing Grand Seiko watches but was disappointed to find that this location does not carry them. This aligns with information from other visitors who have noted that larger Bic Camera stores, such as those in Tokyo, are more likely to stock a wider range of luxury watch brands. Ultimately, I purchased a gaming keyboard for my son and a thermometer. The store offers a range of electronics and household items, but the selection is more limited compared to larger city locations. I would recommend visiting Kojima x Bic Camera Hakodate if you have spare time in Hakodate and are looking for standard electronic goods. However, if you’re seeking a broader selection or specific luxury items like Grand Seiko watches, you might be better served at larger stores in major Japanese cities.
there are gachapon on the first level too!
Got adaptors and multiple extension socket. Beware of the difference in the price tag displayed and final costs charged. They didn't tally. Need to request refund for extra charged and pay again.
