The zhi char dishes were all up to mark. The basic zhi char dishes like the fried rice and San Lou bee Hoon packed the wok hei & umami. The sweet & sour pork was a different style from most other zhi char stall. Will return to try their Hor Fun, a simple zhi char dish which most stall can't even do properly. It was a nice cozy place to dine in.
Tried the shop for 3 dinners. Tried San Lou Bee Hoon, Crispy Fragrant Pork 南乳炸花肉, Paper Wrap Chicken 药材纸包鸡, Beef Hor Fun w Black Bean Sauce. Very satisfied taste of all these dishes. Price is very appropriate for this area, and without service charge and GST makes it super valued for money. And they provide napkins. Makes me want to come back try more dishes and their Mala Hot Pot to see their standard and valued for money too or not. I have been back and tried their Mala Hot Pot, valued for money. A bit too much 🌶️ oil used. Also back to try claypot tofu and kulao rou
咸鱼花腩煲 taste is good but still quite fatty. Three egg spinach is the gooey-est texture I’ve eaten but it’s not bad. Two mains + 1 rice + 1 soup is less than $30’for takeaway
Opt for their delivery. Even though was slightly later due to order surge. The food standard was good and the price is very reasonable. One thing to improve maybe with the oil for their herbal chicken, if can reduce oil would be good.
we ordered delivery from this place after receiving their pamphlet, not expecting much. wow the fish head curry had soooo much meat & the omelette was so good! the veggies were really fresh too - would definitely order again!
