Wow, the samgyetang here was amazingly good. The soup tasted rich, healthy, and full of comforting ginseng flavour without being too overpowering. The chicken was super tender and soft, making it really satisfying and comforting to eat. You can tell the dish was prepared with care and proper slow cooking. The service from the Korean ommu was really warm and friendly too, which made the dining experience feel even more homely and welcoming. The vibe was quite nice as well — a typical cozy Korean restaurant atmosphere, simple but comfortable for a casual meal. Had a wonderful meal at Hansang recently. I’ve visited them before, and I’m happy to say the food is still just as good! They currently have a great set menu for two, which includes a whole ginseng chicken soup and your choice of beef, pork, or mackerel, along with a generous spread of side dishes. The portions were really satisfying and left us feeling comfortably full. The service was excellent too. The lady boss was incredibly warm and welcoming, and even treated us to complimentary ice cream for dessert. A lovely dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!
Made reservations for group of 3, so smooth dining. Service was great as they made sure food and drinks were well served and refilled whenever required. Food 5/5: Overall taste quite authentic the Kimchi, jjapchae was real gooood. Portion was just right. Refillable tea, side dishes. Price was alright as we ordered quite a lot. Ambient 5/5: Good for chat, there's option of bbq area or non-bbq area Overall good dining experience, will definitely be back.
We enjoyed the food here. Everything we ordered is good. But personally I like the birthday seaweed soup best! It’s nourishing and full of collagen and tasted so wholesome! The fish pancake was yummy too! Love how the food here tastes homemade. Can definitely come back again!
Good meal. Japchae here has been consistently solid for the past decade. The Jokbal (roast pork) and beef rib soup were really tender and flavorful. Ginseng chicken soup came in a generous portion and the chicken fell off the bone easily. Would order all 3 again
