We were specifically looking for a tutor who could challenge our high-achieving son in A-Level Math, not just teach to the test. Mr. Kai at Gavin's has been perfect. He introduces advanced concepts and problem-solving techniques that go beyond the syllabus, which is exactly what we wanted. His sessions are intellectually rigorous and highly effective.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Gavin Tuition Centre. My son, Harold, attended English and A Math tuition at the Toa Payoh branch starting from the second school term. Prior to joining Gavin, he had attended other tuition centres but still received F8 results. The tuition teacher at Gavin put in great effort and dedication to help him improve. I am very pleased to share that he eventually scored an A for English and a B for A Math in the O level 2025. This improvement speaks volumes about the quality of teaching and commitment of the teacher. Thumbs up to the teacher and the centre! I would highly recommend Gavin Tuition Centre to students who need extra help in their studies.

The teachers are very nice, caring, and helpful. They always explain patiently when we don’t understand something and make lessons fun and interesting. Because of their help, I feel more confident in my studies and my results have improved too. I would definitely recommend this tuition centre to other students!

My boy, when he was in P4,loved Science but like many students, faced issues with OEQ. I, as a parent, found it difficult to teach OEQ when I couldn't figure out what the system was looking for in the answers. At my wit's end, we first joined Ms Lye's P4 class in July 2024 after reading numerous favourable reviews, give it a shot, we thought. We got a lot more than we asked for. There are many benefits joining these smaller boutique centres- the level of care and attention is different/unconditional.. Knowing my boy is usually on time, Ms Lye texted me personally to check if he was on the way when he was absent one day. Even when it comes to makeup classes, she will try to arrange for a suitable makeup class in terms of progress (as opposed to just squeezing in a suitable time slot). Once, she even stayed an extra hour just to teach him as he was not getting his OEQ technique right. She wanted him to repeat it till he was sure of it. My boy is also always looking forward to class. He enjoys the experiments, which I find are integral to the holistic science experience. Even my girl is asking for lessons tho she is not of age yet. Thanks to Ms Lye's effort, we could see my boy's marks slowly (and surely) moving up across terms, he is now P5 and scoring AL2 (his best subject).

My son used to hide his school results from me. After a few months here, he actually volunteered his test scores improved by two bands. The supportive environment rebuilt his confidence, not just his grades. That emotional turnaround is something you can't put a price on.
